Hate me~ [Alhaitham x Kaveh]

Kaveh's POV:

I woke up onto of Alhaitham's body. He didn't have clothes on, neither did I. I opened my ruby red eyes, groaning gently, My head pounded but I wasn't worried about that right now. Alhaitham's heavy arms were wrapped around my lower waist. I tried to move but he held me closer, he was awake too. He opened his emerald eyes, looking up at me. I sighed softly, "Sorry..I didn't mean to wake you..."I spoke quietly as he reached up, resting a  hand on my cheek. I blushed, my gaze softening. I slowly smiled as he leaned up, giving me a kiss on the cheek before letting me go. I slowly climbed off of him, sitting up, stretching. I climbed off of the bed, walking grabbing my clothes. Alhaitham remained laying down, watching me. "Your going to work?" He asked me as I sighed, "Yeah, I have a deadline for tomorrow, I'm nearly done with  the last two blueprints." Alhaitham sighed, "Well, if your going to work, I suppose I must too."He got up, getting dress as well. I sighed gently as I put on my clothes, slipping my boots on. He sighed, "I'm exhausted...I don't remember a whole lot about last night, But giving the fact we were both naked, I have a idea about what happened." I nod slowly as I looked back at him, "I.. Got you a gift..Yesterday." Alhaitham looked somewhat interested, "A gift? That's a first." He muttered. I rolled my eyes as I grabbed his hand, leading him down the stairs, handing him a small gift bag. When alhaitham opened it, a small lion key ring was visible. "I-I already have one so.. i thought we could match..." I spoke quietly as Alhaitham chuckled, "Thank you." He said as he grabbed his keys, putting the key ring on. He sighed softly, We should head to work, Blondie." He muttered as he unlocked the door, I scoffed, "Where do you get off calling me nicknames?" I muttered, crossing my arms over my broad chest as he laughed gently, "I heard the academy funded a trip to dragon spine for you, maybe you should find some warmer clothes than shirts that show half of your boobs." He poked  my chest where his shirt left uncovered. I huffed, "It almost sounds like your worried about me,and we both know that's not true."

 I muttered, I expected alhaitham to snap back but instead he remained silent, letting the silence linger, "I just don't wanna hear you complaining about getting a cold. After all, Your a drama queen." He said with a smirk.  I narrowed my eyes, "I am not a drama queen!" I huffed as he rolled his eyes, "Oh come on Kaveh don't bullshit me you know you are, We've know eachother for years. I know you all too well." I huffed as I looked towards where we normally split ways for work. I crossed my arms, "I'm going to work." I brushed off my clothes. He smiled, heading his separate ways from me.

Alhaitham's Pov:

I went to my office, sitting in my chair as I started replying to letters and Accepting and declining applications. I had alot of work to it and I was dreading it. I was exactly fulfilled at my job, I never had room to relax, not even at home, well. I couldn't relax at home because of Kaveh but still. I wish I have a hour to my self. A hour just to read and relax. I set my keys on the desk, staring at the  key ring, the little lion was cute. A constant reminder of Kaveh, But I wanted to get him off of my mind. I was falling for him and if theirs one thing I've learned working here, it's that bringing relationships to work always ended bad. it didn't help our offices were so close.. walking distance.  that evening all I did was think about him, I was the one who assured Kaveh got the funds for his trip, though I was unsure why he wanted to go to dragon spine, I knew it was for him work. It was hot today which made it hard to focus. I made sure to stay hydrated during the days. I drank water out of a cup that was on my desk.  I did miss Kaveh today, In fact, I missed him every time he took a trip, everytime he went to work.. seeing this stupid key ring just made me miss him more. I would kill to see his stupid face right now. Just as I thought of that there was a knock on the door. "Come in." I called towards the door as Kaveh strode into the room. It was about a hour or two since we went to work. Why was Kaveh here? I looked at him, "Is something wrong, Kaveh? Shouldn't you be at work at the moment?" I asked as he looked at me,  "I.. Actually wanted to ask you something..." he muttered. I looked at him, putting the quill tip in the ink container, "Go on.' I muttered as he sat on my desk, "What we did..Last night.. What does it mean for us..? What are we..Alhaitham..? Are we friends..? Are we lovers? I..I just don't know what it means.. It's so confusing and conflicting...I just need to know.. For peace sake.." I was speachless.This was a question that not even I knew the answer to, "Kaveh.. This is a hell of a time to ask such a thing..I-" "You don't have a answer...Am I right?" "You are... I'm trying to figure this myself." Kaveh nodded slowly. "I can't..work..when this is on my mind.." he admitted. I looked at him,  he was being open and it surprised me...But it also worried me. " I let the silence linger. It was like a brick wall that was supposed to shield me was just broken by Kaveh and it made me uncomfortable,I didn't like him bothering me in such ways but I had no right to yell at him...not right now. I clearedmy throat, "We will talk about this at home.''  "But I think we should talk about it now! How can you sleep next to me, Alhaitham?! How can you sleep with me,,, for no reason...Your not like that...So why won't you give me a answer...?" I was backed into a corner at this point. I sighed, "We will talk about this at home, Once you've calmed down I'll talk with you. until then, I am going to continue working. I  suggest you do the same." I muttered as I picked up my quill pen, writing aletter neatly. He sighed, "Okay..." he slowly stood up, heading back to his office.

TIME SKIP CAUSE IM FUCKING LAZY <3

Kaveh's POV:

I waited at the front door for Alhaitham, I left my keys on the nightstand of Alhaitham's  room. After a little, Alhaitham  showed up, unlocking the door. I sat on the couch, sighing, I was stressed, I haven't eaten anything all day. I ran my fingers throiugh my blonde hair. He put his keys on the key hook, locking the door as he sighed, sitting on the coffee table in front of me,  "You want to talk... so we can talk." he said gently. I looked away, "I'll ask you again, Alhaitham.. What am I to you..?" I looked down. He sighed, "I don't know, Kaveh... I wish I had a answer to give you, but I don't. I don't know if I hate or if I love you, And that's a conflicting story itself." I frowned, "Then how do I know that your not just toying with me, Al!? How do I know your not just doing this to kill time until you finally kick me out?" He used his hand to gently grab my chin. i looked up at him, i was angry, but under all of that hate was anxiety and love.  "I know I can be a asshoe to you Kaveh but I wouldn't do that to you or anyone, You should know that better than anyone. I  don't know what I'm feeling. " He spoke. I turned my head, ripping my face out of his grasp as he smiled, "There you are. See? You got all angry for nothing." He muttered, ruffling my hair as he stood up, "If that was all you wanted to talk about, I'm going to my room. Don't stay up too late. He muttered, walking up the stairs, leaving me there, a wave of relief washed over me, I felt..Calm. His voice often did that to me but it was different this time. it was genuine. He meant every word he said to me. I closed my eyes and ended up falling asleep right where Alhaitham left me.
