If You Go Out In The Woods

I woke up 7 minutes ago and I'm now gathering all the things I broke or stole together and waiting for the sound of footsteps.

If the guards were smart they won't have guns when they come today.

Oh, who am I kidding I know for sure that they're going to have their guns. Why? I don't know but they must not value their lives because even after they found out what I did they still chose to do what they wanted with me.

The sound of the backup door closing brings me to attention as I listen to what they're saying.

"So y'all do this every night"? A new slightly younger guard says.

"Yeah, what's she going to do kill me". Yes, yes I will kill you " Plus it's not like she'll say anything that bitch hasn't said a word since she got here hell I don't even know if she can," said David.

No one has heard me speak since that day.

"Wait so she's never uttered a word since she's been here"? The younger one asks.

" mhm, not one word not a gasp not a scream not even a tear," Donny the oldest says.

"There's no way that she hasn't cried, screamed, or spoken since she's been here, not to mention she's been here for five years and not one of you has heard her," the younger one says.

Everything is quiet, so quiet you can hear a pen drop as the three men stand in front of my cell almost as if they're reconsidering their deaths. Until David decides to break the silence "Looks like she was waiting patiently for us". He says with a small laugh as he's fumbling with his keys Donny puts his hand on David's shoulder "I don't think we should do this" Donny says with a look in his eyes almost as if he knows the danger he's in. David looks back at him shocked by his words "What no she's waiting because she knows she deserves this if you want to back out now you can't" he says shaking his head.

"I'm not doing this" Donny looks over to the younger one who's standing there shocked. "And you won't either Zach" Donny says with finality as he walks over to the boy and pulls him back.

"Fine so be it just because you don't want to won't stop me I'm gonna have fun," David says while finally finding the right key.

Believe it or not but Donny is probably the sweetest guard I've ever had he has never hit me or done anything to harm me whatsoever weird I know but after every beating, punishment, or whatever it was he was there, right there to help me or treat my wounds and since he showed me his kindness I shall show him mine and spare him and the young guard whose name I now know as Zach.

Ok, focus, enough talking to yourself it's time to move.

Shaking my thoughts away I look at David who just step through the cell door. He looks up with a big smile but just as soon as his smile is there it soon disappears as soon as he sees mine.
As David closes the cell door I hear Zach ask Donny what's happening, and Donny replies with an I don't know.

David starts walking towards me and I can't help but let the giggle I've been holding in. David pauses and looks at me with shock but continues to make his way to me until we are face to face, I can feel his breath hitting me in the face.

David lifts his fist and prepares it to swing at me. I then let it swing before the punch can reach me I dodge and end up on the side he left open. In one big swing, I punch him straight in his ribs causing him to fall back. As soon as he loses his foot I take his gun and pull the trigger, with no remorse or second thought he's dead.

Donny and Zach are still in shock which gives me some time to dig in David's pockets for the master's key.

" Ah, here it is," I say.

My voice sounds a bit rough and scratchy since I haven't used it in 5 years, it also hurt very bad just to say those few words, nothing a bit of water should fix.

I make my way to the cell door and open it using the master key, as I step out the door I look up to see Donny and Zach standing there faces void of any emotion.

"Y-you just spoke," Zach says looking at me with a serious face, I look over to see Donny smiling and a look of pride on his face.

Donny clears his throat "I'm so proud of you Bella, now look if you're making your way out you're going to take two lefts one right and then another left and you'll end up at a door".

I nod because my throat hurts too much to say yes.

"Good and after that you're going to go south as soon as you step out, once you've been going south for a while you're going to come across a house stay there until we come and get you ok?

South... "Wait south is going the opposite direction of town though". Donny nods "Yes, it is but you don't need to go to town right now trust me just go to the house" "And what do you mean by wait for y'all" Donny laughs "Because I can't let the woman I see as my daughter get caught and have nowhere to go" " b-but you know what I've done you know what I'm capable of aren't you afraid I might hurt or kill you" Donny shakes his head " because you could have killed me when you stepped out of that cell but you didn't, now enough talking get going we have some stuff to finish up," he says walking away with Zach.

As I was making my way out I saw three guards who I took out with ease, after walking awhile I finally found the exit Donny told me about I opened the door and ran south immediately.

I ran for four hours until I came up to the house, god I'm gonna fucking kill Donny for lying and saying it's not that far. Once I regained my breath I looked up to see a big log cabin.

I walk up the stairs hoping the door is unlocked and lucky for me it is I open the door and walk in closing the door behind me.

I'm looking around until I see a man who's probably 6,6 black hair and very muscle defined looking at me with amusement. So quick thinking I screamed at the top of my lungs and said " What are you doing in my house I'll call the cops"

He stands there unmoving a smirk slowly creeping on his face "Really, your house huh, then where's the kitchen"

She starts looking around confused about the kitchen "Huh, Wait that's not fair".
