Pinky Promise

Sophia's POV 

It's so boring, I used all my paper that the guard gave me, I whispered to myself, while walking through the large hallway, I look around the hallway and noticed that I'm right outside papa's office, maybe papas got some paper in there that I can use... but papa will get mad if I go in there without permission. I reach for the beautifully crafted door handle that led to the office, as the heavy door swings open I see a huge wooden desk in the middle and beautiful paintings that hung on the wall.

I walk up to the desk and start to look around for plain paper, until I hear papa walk in and freeze apon seeing me. I stare at him afraid for what he'll do.

"YOU BITCH WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT COMING IN MY OFFICE" he seethed as he started walking towards me, as soon as he was close enough to me he grabbed me by my pigtails that I had worked so hard on "I'm sorry papa please forgive me I didn't mean to" I cried but my cry's fell on deaf ears "No your going to learn this time" he dragged me down the stairs to the four guards that stood by the front door "Take her and chain her up in the woods no food or water, for two days" the guards were shocked by the request "but.. boss it'll be storming for a week" the guard fearfully said "I DONT CARE DO IT NOW OR YOULL BE OUT THERE WITH HER" the guards bowed and grabbed me and chained me up to the tree and left...

I'm forced awake by Eric shaking me while saying my name. I look at him "what" he looks at me confused "you were crying and yelling" I look at him and sigh, turning my attention to my hands "it was a nightmare, I'm alright now... I look at him and see that he's staring at me with an intense stare "what was it" I can feel my body start to tremble as I recall the dreadful memorie. A shaky breath slips past my lips "it was a memory, one from when I was a kid, I was 7 I think maybe younger but one I ran out of drawing paper, so I went to search for some but my father found me and punished me by chaining me up in the woods during a storm for two days with no food or water" he sighs and shakes his head "you are so strong and I'm so proud of you, I promise I'll always be here for you no matter what" I look at him and suddenly feel tears rolling down my face, I hold my pinky finger up "you pinky promise" he smiles and crosses his pinky finger with mine and nods.

"Now get up it's time to have fun"he states.

Surprisingly the week flew by with a blink of an eye and honestly Eric was right I needed that, I let out every emotion I held in for years go, I feel like I'm ready for anything and I feel amazing and energized.

Dominic's POV

I hear a knock on my office door, I don't look up at who just entered the office already knowing that it's Mark because he's the only one brave enough to disturb me while I'm in a mood, I stop doing my paperwork and look at him and notice that he has a look on his face that tells me that I'm not going to like what he says next.

I sigh "What"
Mark shakes his head and says "you need to eat something, sleep and take a shower, I understand that you're worried but she's fine" I stand up and walk towards him "it's none of your business what I do now do your job and get The Fuck out of my face" I say as I walk past him and hold the door open for him to leave. He looks at me shocked but still leaves.

Marks POV

That damn stubborn bastard he's working himself to an early grave all because he's worried but won't admit it and now I've got to fix things for my best friend and boss. The truth is that he feels terrible because he made her sad and that instead of going to him with her problems and past to Eric. But he was being an ass, all his life he was raised to be ruthless and to take control in every situation but now that Bella has came it's different the methods that he uses with his men are the wrong ones and so he's confused, this is definitely gonna be fun to watch until the end.
