Chapter 50

Adrianna POV.

"I am sorry ma'am but some of our spies in their mafia have informed us that they are leaving to where you are," he said.

"Max, I am giving you twenty-four hours to know who told them. Failure to do that, you will die in the next second," I said coldly and I heard a gulp.

"Can you tell the pilot that he should be here in the next thirty minutes because if I am not wrong? From Ace's house to here it is approximately two hours. We need to leave this place within an hour," Ivy commanded him.

"I already informed him. He is on his way there," he said.

"At least you have the brains to think of doing that before informing us," I said.

Ivy disconnected the call before looking at me.

"We can go and do shopping in America or?" She asked.

"Honestly, I don't know but why should we go to America and immediately go shopping?" I asked her hoping that she would understand what I meant.

"Okay. Why don't you go and pack at least one suitcase," she said and I nodded my head cause I knew that she understood what I meant by the previous sentence.

There was no way we could arrive in America and go shopping immediately. I stood up and carried Jasmine. I was going to pack two suitcases for her and one for me.

Luckily for me, when I walked to her closet, I saw that three suitcases were full of clothes. Bet Miriam arranged them there after washing them. Each outfit was arranged as a full outfit. So now I only needed to pack my things but before that, I took Jasmine's toys and kept them in another suitcase.

I dragged the suitcase to the corridor before walking to my room to arrange my clothes. I was just carrying one suitcase since I didn't need a lot of clothes. Walking into my closet, I found some shopping bags with clothes. Linda's store has always packed outfits accordingly. If it was jeans, it was packed with some underwear, tops, and even shoes. Each bag has at least three outfits. Since there were more than fifteen bags, I decided to just take an empty suitcase and keep the bags there. After twenty minutes I was done with my room. I walked out with my suitcase and when I reached the corridor, I took one of the baby's suitcases and walked downstairs.

We were going to leave the computers but our technology made-like Ire was coming with us.

After getting all of the suitcases out including Ivy's, I walked back inside and took the baby.

"We don't have a lot of time left," I said.

"I know," immediately she said that we heard the jet landing.

"That's our clue to go," she said and I nodded my head.

We walked out and we were met by the co-pilot who was busy taking the luggage. As we were getting in the jet, we heard and saw cars halting. It was a convoy of cars that made us know that it was Ace and his men.

"Stupid idiot, I thought he said that they had not yet started the journey," Ivy said angrily and I sighed.

"So he lied to us," I said coldly, making the co-pilots flinch.

"We need to get going now," I said when I got in.

"Okay ma'am," the pilot said.

"Please tighten your safety belts, we are flying in a minute," the co-pilot said through the speaker.

"Adrianna," I heard Ace yelling as he was running towards us but he couldn't get in without a passcode.

I looked at him one last time before diverting my attention to my daughter.

She was looking at me with curiosity and I smiled at her. After a while, she smiled back and started playing with my blouse.

"Do you know how Ace may have found us?" Ivy asked and I shook my head.

"I just hope that we don't have a mole in our organization," I said.

"Do I think that it is Max?" She asked and I looked at her and I saw that she was worried.

"Honestly, I don't know. I just hope not because I don't know what we will do to him and who we will keep in charge of the organization when we aren't there," I said.

"The fact that he gave us the wrong timings makes him a suspect," she said.

"Yes, it does. Do you want him dead?" I asked.

"It's just that ever since Victor died and he left all his properties and money to us, Max has changed. He is so jealous of us. That we have the organization and money," she said and I looked at her searching for emotions evident but there were none.

"What makes you say that?" I asked because I had been so busy with my pregnancy hence I never got a chance to go into the organisation. Even when I was in Ace's place I still didn't go.

"Sometimes when I tell him to do something, he won't until you threaten him. He once told me that if it weren't for Victor, we would still be on the streets. If we didn't come into his life, the organization would have been his," she said and I was in disbelief.

Max is like our own brother. And organization and wealth are the things that are making him forget our memories from Childhood? I am furious.

"He doesn't know where we are going. The pilot will be forced to make a promise not to tell anyone and if they do, I will kill them," I said.

"Of course," she said with a smile to which I returned genuinely.

"When things cool down a little bit, I will go and get rid of him. Don't worry," I said and she nodded her head.

I knew that Jassy would be sleeping in a few, so I decided to breastfeed her before that. After she fell asleep, I took her to the bedroom so that she could sleep there while I did some work.

We had already bought the house so the jet would be landing within its compound. We have nine more hours to go.

I just hope that I will be able to take care of my baby in this country with no drama. Honestly, I don't know the mafia leaders of America. I have never been interested because they are always so quiet and never start fights. When they disagree with another mafia, it is believed that they sit down and negotiate a way to stop the war. During my stay in the country, I will meet with them at least once since I want to go back to assassination as soon as Jazzy turns two.

I took my laptop and started getting into the American mafia systems. I needed to know how long from my mansion to theirs so that I wouldn't run into them without knowing who they were.

It turns out that their system is so unique that it took me nearly two hours. I was surprised that I took that long and I have never when hacking into other Mafia's systems. Why then aren't they the number one mafia across the world? I will find out later. From my mansion to theirs is just forty-five minutes. By the time I was done with their systems, I was so tired that I felt darkness overcoming me.
