Charles and I are having fun and laugh most of the time. We ate our hamburgers and fries and then we ordered one large portion of onion rings. "Oh, its getting late!" I exclaim as I look at my phone. Time flies so fast in his company, that we have been at lunch for three hours already. "Are you in a hurry?" he asks with a laugh. "Not really, but I was going to clean the apartment and do the laundry."
"What about a cleaning lady? Don't you have one?"
"Yeah, sure," I laugh.
"Hey, you're Mrs. Sainz," he teases me. I look at him seriously, so he flinches and seriously says: "I'm sorry."
"We won't talk about that, okay. You know why I don't like you calling me like that. Don't forget that your party ruined our relationship." I take my wallet out of my purse and wave to the waitress. "I'll pay," he says, but I look at him again: "I invited you."
After settling the bill, I get up to leave. "Let me drive you home." I smile: "I'll walk, it's not far to home. Thanks for the company." Now he also gets up and kisses me on the cheek: "Thank you. Shall we see each other tomorrow, huh? I'll be in Madrid until Friday." I shrug: "Maybe." I really had a good time at lunch.
I slowly walk home and think. At the street I greet an elderly couple holding hands. I think how nice it would be if Carlos and I were like that one day.
When I get home, I put all the things from the store to the pantry and let the fresh air to the apartment. I wear an old, tattered dress and start cleaning. It relaxes me. I do the laundry, clean Vivi's room, change the bedclothes. Time passes quickly again and I look at clock when I get a message.

We forgot about the bet 😔

I smile and answer quickly.

- Me
Who won? Me 🤔

I put my phone to the table and go get the laundry. In between I hear another beep. I quickly pull all the laundry from washing machine into the basket and rush back to the phone.

- Charles
U were right. I'VE NEVER EATEN BETTER ONION RINGS (and a hamburger)

I can not stop laughing. I want to text back, but I realize that I have laundry to finish. I sigh. I leave the phone in living room and walk out onto the terrace. I quickly hang up the laundry, then rush back to the phone.

I told you 🤭 So what did we bet?

I get an answer right away.

- Charles
I'm taking you to dinner

- Me
To Monaco? Hamburger and fries again? 🍔🍟

I find myself giggling like a teenage girl texting her crush.

- Charles
Well, yeah, we can flight to Monaco 😁

Before I can text anything, there came another message.

- Charles
Tonight?

I look at the clock, which says 5:38 pm. I was going to call Sofia and spend some time with her. When I want to text back, my phone rings. It's video call from Carlos. I answer quickly and see Vivi and Carlos on the screen.
"Hola mommy, what are you doing?" Vivi shouts. "I'm cleaning, honey. What are you doing?"
"I'm playing cards with dad. I miss you," she says and kisses the camera. "I miss you too, honey."
"What about daddy? Are you missing him too?" she asks and puts the phone into his hands. "Hey," he greets me gently. How beautiful he is, all tanned. "Hey, I can see that you're in the sun a lot," I reply. He smiles: "You love to see me like that, huh? Tanned?" I can feel that I'm blushing. Vivi laughs: "Daddy's tanned, daddy's tanned!"
"Where are Carlos and Reyes?" I ask without answering his question. "Dad is preparing some fish, mom is taking some rest. You didn't answer my question," he smirks and brings the camera to his lips, whispering: "I know you adore my dark skin, and now that I'm telling you this, your skin is getting a goose bumps and your breathing is quickening."
Oh god, he's right. I bite my lip.
"I adore this habit of yours when you bite your lip. I wish I could do that to you now." "Please, stop" I say quietly.
I don't want him to stop, but Vivi is nearby. "Where is Viviene?" I ask. "Don't worry, she's with my dad" he says as he looks around. "No, Carlos, I can't," I say with a trembling voice, because I know what he means. Many times when he was away, we called each other like that and had....phone sex.
But we can't do that now. "Please, amor, just for a moment," he pleads. I feel myself getting wet, my heart breaking.
" I love your messy hair," he said. I keep silent and close my eyes. "Yeah, imagine that I'm next to you. Kissing and caressing you," he says quietly. When I open my eyes again, I see that he is in another room. Now he is alone. He put down his phone and took off his swimming trunks. I bite my lip again. My hand slips under my dress. My panties are already completely wet. "Let me see you," he whispers. I tilt my phone so he can look at me when I caresses myself. I see that he is caressing himself too. His hand is going up and down. "Ahh," I gasp.
"Si, amor, let's do this together."
"I can't," I exhale as I reach my climax. When I open my eyes, I see that he also comes at the same time. I see white liquid flying towards the screen. I smile. "Te amo, Vanessa Rivera," he said with a serious voice. Then I hear knocking on the door. "Carlos, are you here?" An unknown voice.
"Just a second!" he exclaims.
He turns to the camera again. "They're calling me, I have to go," he says. His eyes changed.
"Okay. Give a kiss and a hug to Vivi. And take care of her ok?" He smiles at me: "I will, amor." Then I hang up. What's wrong with me!? Where did I lost my head!?
Phone beeps.
