Time on the Maldives passes quickly and we return at home totally in love.
We set another appointment at the doctor for the ultrasound.
"How are you feeling Mrs. Sainz?" doctor asks.
"Very good. I hope our babies are fine."
"We're going to make an ultrasound now and we'll see."
He spread a gel to my belly and soon, we see two hearts bumping.
"Oooh, look at them," Carlos says.
I am looking at them and I am so happy.
"They are healthy. Hearts are beating right, their measurements are fine."
"Can we know their gender?" I ask.
"Hm, this is the boy," doctor says after a while. Carlos squeezes my hand. I look at him and his eyes shines.
"Mr. and Mrs. Sainz...you are going to have two sons."
Carlos starts to cry. He stands up and walks to the window.
"I'll leave you for a while," doctor says and left.
"Amor, are you okay?" I ask.
He turns to me. His eyes are red of crying.
I walk to him and give him a strong hug.
"I always wanted a son," he says through the tears.
"Now you're going to have two," I add.
"Te amo, Vanessa. You know this, right?"
I nod and kiss him.

In the next few weeks we bought a property in the suburbs of Madrid. There is a big house with three bathrooms, five bedrooms, big living area and terrace and of course plenty of space outside the house. We moved there in the end of March. Carlos's dog Piñón is already with us. We have bought all the tiny clothes for our twins, their room is prepared and is waiting for them.
Carlos made a big decision to retire and now he is at home with me and Vivien.

The months are passing and now I already have a big belly. Every night we are laying on the bed and watching how they became active with kicking.

"How are you, pumpkin?" my dad asks when he calls me.
"I can't wait for them to be born. Everything hurts me."
"You think they'll be born before June?"
"Yeah. Even the doctor says that. I am a little nervous. I hope everything will be okay."
"It will be, love."
After 15 minutes of chat I hang off.
I walk to the terrace, Carlos is in the garden, mowing the grass. Vivien is playing with Piñón.
Suddenly I feel a hard cramp in the bottom of my stomach. Oh, crap.
Contractions.
I sit on the chair and drink some water. It release for few moments, then another contraction hits me. It is starting.
"Carlos!" I call, but he did not hear me.
"Mommy, what is it?" Vivien runs to me.
"Please tell daddy to come here, love," I smile at her. She runs to him.
I am sitting on the chair and breathing deeply.
"Is something wrong?" Carlos asks, running to me. He is shirtless, wearing ripped jeans and gardening boots, damn how hot he is.
"Ehm, I think it is time for boys to be born," I smile.
"What? Already? It is 15th of May," he looks at me confused.
"The doctor says they'll be born earlier, you know that."
"Yes, but..."
He is freaking out. He wasn't at home when Vivi was born, so this is his first time.
"We should go to the hospital."
"Maybe we can wait for a while. The contractions needs to be on 5 minutes."
"Are you sure?"
Another cramp hits me and at the same moment, my water brakes.
"Maybe not. The water brakes."
He panicked.
"Dios Mio! Vivien, please bring mommy's bag for the hospital!" he shouts.
"Carlos, stay calm. Everything is okay."
"No it is not! We must go to the hospital!"
He wears a T-shirt and grabs the keyes. Vivi brings my bag.
"We need to call my dad," I say calmly.
"We don't have time, Vanessa. She is coming with us."
"We can drive her to him." I stand up and do few steps.
"Don't walk!"
"Carlos, for god sake. I am okay! Stop with the panic."
Vivi walkes to us with her already prepared backpack.
"Okay, okay, I should calm down," Carlos says. We slowly walk to the car. His hands shakes.
"Are you sure you can drive?" I laughed, but he looks at me seriously.
"I need only one minute to calm."
"Of course. I forgot you're an F1 world champion," I laughed again.
I hope I did not hurt him, but he looks so funny.
We're driving and Carlos looks so stressed.
"Love, are you okay?" I ask him.
"Mhm, how are you? Are you in pain?"
"Yeah, it hurts, but I can handle it."

*CARLOS*
I cannot believe how calm is she. I am freaking out.
"Do we have choosen names for boys?" Vivi suddenly asks. I stop at the red light and look at her first, then at Vanessa. Vanessa smiles: "I let you and daddy to choose their names."
"Yaaay!" Vivi shouts.
I am determined about one name, and it is Oliver.
Suddenly Vanessa squeaks.
"Are you okay?"
"Hurry up. They'll be born soon," she says and breathes.
I step on pedal and drive faster.
I drive to the entrance, run around the car and lift Vanessa up and carry her inside. Vivien runs with us.
"Please, help. My wife is getting birth," I say as nurse brings a wheelchair.
"We're going take her to the labour ward."
"Can we come with you?"
"The girl needs to wait. Do you have someone to take care of her?"
"My father in law but...he still don't know we're here."
"Don't worry, Mr. Sainz. We're going to take care of her."
"Okay, thank you." I kneel to Vivi: "Love, this nice nurse will take care of you in the meantime, okay?"
She nods: "Okay, daddy. Give mummy a big kiss."
I hug her, then she left with a nurse.
Another nurse come to me: "Mr. Sainz. It is time. Please wear this medical gown and disinfect your hands."
I obey her. My heart is beating like crazy.
"Are you okay? You are little pale," she asks.
"Yes, I am fine. Lets go."
We walk in the labour ward. Vanessa is laying on the bed, they are monitoring her.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" I ask her and give her a kiss on the forehead.
"I don't know," she admits.
"You're opening well. We're going to wait for few more minutes," a midwife says.
"I cannot wait anymore," I say and start walking up and down the room.
Vanessa is breathing.
"Ohh, I need to push," she says.
I hurry to her and take her hand.
"Okay, you are ready. You can start pushing now," doctor says.
Vanessa pushes. She is all sweaty, grabbing my hand.
"You're doing great, amor."
"Push one more time, Vanessa."
"I need time. It hurts," she cries.
"I know it hurts, but we're almost there. I can see the top of his head," doctor says.
"Come on, love. Push."
She pushes hardly.
"He is almost here, one more time."
She pushes again and scream.
I suddenly hear crying.
"One boy is here. Keep pushing, Vanessa."
I look to the midwife who took my son.
"It is 15th of May, 12.36 am, his weight is 2340 grams and he is 46 cm length," I hear, when Vanessa screams again.
"I can't do it anymore, Carlos," she cries.
"You're almost done, Nessa," I say, when she pushes one more time and we hear another cry.
"It is 15th of May, 12.38 am, his weight is 2200 grams and he is 43 cm length."
Vanessa looks at me, crying. I cry too.
"We have boys," she whispers. I give her a kiss.
"You've done a perfect job," I say through the tears.
The midwife carries our baby boys to us.
"Here Mrs. Sainz. Take them to your chest."
"Oh, god they are so beautiful," Vanessa says. I keep in silent.
"Carlos?"
I look at her and wipe tears.
"Yes, they are beautiful," I agree.
"We're going to clean and dress them, then you can spend some time together alone."
I sit to my wife.
"I love you," she says.
"I love you more. You were amazing. You gave birth to two beautiful boys." I lean to her and give her a kiss.
"Mr. Sainz, this is boy Nr. One," the midwife hands me first boy.
He is so fragile. Vanessa takes boy Nr. Two.
"We need names for the administration. Have you decided already?"
"This is Oliver. Oliver Sainz," I say, giving him a kiss on the top of the head.
"Vivien, our daughter will choose another name," Vanessa says and smiles.
The door opens and Vivien runs in the room.
"Sshh, quiet," the nurse says softly as Vivien steps on her toes to see babies.
"Meet your younger brothers. This is Oliver," I say and show her one of our princes.
"He is so tiny," she says and caress his cheek.
"Yeah, you were tiny too," I lean and give her a kiss on the forehead.
"Mommy, you were so brave."
Vivi sit on the bed and hugs Vanessa. Then she looks to another brother.
"We all were brave. So do you, a big sister. He is waiting for a name," Vanessa says.
Vivi nods: "I was talking with Paula, she is my new friend."
"Who is Paula?" I ask.
"Daddy, the nurse who takes care of me in the meantime."
Oh, sure, I forgot.
Vanessa laughs.
"Because daddy is a world champion I choose a special name. Mommy, daddy, Oliver, let me introduce you to Victor."
Vanessa starts to cry again.
"Mommy, why are you crying?"
"I am just so sentimental. This is a beautiful name. Both of them."
"What if we take a photo and send it to our family and friends?" I ask.
"Yeeeees! Paula can take a photo!" Vivi runs out of the room.
Oliver starts to cry, so I stood up and walk around for a while.
"Paula is here. Come on, daddy, lets take us a photo!"
Oliver calms so I sit down to the chair next to Vanessa's bed and Vivien sits on my knees.
"You are a very beautiful family," Paula says.
We look at the photo. She is right, we are perfect.
