Third person POV ~
"One, two and three...TADA!" whispered Ruby as she staked another piece of bread on Sakura's head as she slept.
Sakura pov
'I will stomp on all the dango if you do not wake up you got that.'
'Hey no Mansin-kun, Sunshine-chan is sleeping so, SHUT UP!'
'Yay I sleeping stupi-!?'
'I will do it!' as he grabbed (fake) Dango in the mindscape.
'Crap.'
"No! Not the dango anything other than the dango!! NOOO!!!" I yelled as I sat straight up and Ruby laughed her ass off on the other side of the clearing.
"RU-CHAN!" I yelled as the almost 30 pieces of bread fell off my head.
(The crunching of leaves went unheard by the two pink-haired idiot's ears.)
"Can you people get any louder." said a pineapple head with droopy/tired eyes
What he wore was a chainmail shirt and a dark yellowish-grayish jacket on and to the knee dark almost black, brown shorts.
"HUH!?" Ruby yelled after he talked.
"AHHH-!?!....Oh hi." I said after I realized he was behind me and he gave me a small croaked smile.
"Yep you troublesome girls CAN get louder ugh," he said as he laid down beside me on the tiny hill with an apple tree at the top with a wooden swing on a/tied to a branch.
'Ugh! I ain't that loud JERK!'
'Really.'
'Shush you talking grape!'
"I'm Shikamaru Nara by the way and nice to meet you." I was broken out of my mind by Shikamaru.
"Huh?.. Oh, I'm Sakura Dragneel Future best/strongest fire mage ever! And this flying cat is Ruby and nice to meet you Pineapple dude." I said with a big grin.
"A mage huh and not a ninja?" Shikamaru asked me and I was confused.
"Huh, what do you mean?" I asked with Ruby gliding to me.
"A mage is weaker than a ninja usually so you might want to go the ninja route and not the mage route but there is the world's most powerful mage named...Ashido Quins the famous light mage but you can't even reach his level as a pre-Acadamy kid so what do you have to say for that?" Shikamaru asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I pick...Both! I will be the strongest in both fields of main combat so what do you say to that Pineapple head." I asked with a determined face.
(Which wasn't as serious as she thought cause her puffy cheeks had a red tint to them which made her look cute but again she does not realize.)
He looked shocked as if he thought I would pick one then he gave me a crooked smile with a very tiny red hue on his cheeks.
"Good answer Sakura-san."
'Huh? -san?'
"Huh? Why did you call me with a -san and not -chan?" I asked with my head tilted.
"Cause we just met so -san is more respectful than -chan so it's Sakura-san," he said back.
"No! We are friends so Pineapple head it's Sakura-chan! Got it now?!" I said as I grabbed his left hand.
"Huh!?" he yelled confused.
"Ya! Shikamaru-kun call us with -chan or just our name whichever is better for your taste," Ruby said from beside me with a big smile on her face.
"Okay Sakura-sa-I mean Sakura-chan!"-he yelled with his arms at his sides and his eyes clenched tight-"And Ruby."
"There you go Pineapple head." I smiled at him.
Shikamaru pov~
"So Sakura-chan you know how to play shogi or Go?" I asked Sakura-chan.
"Yep! I know how to play shogi," she said as she bounced as we walked with Ruby next to me.
"Ya she even beat me," Ruby said as she sweatdropped.
5 mins later~
"So you could survive 2 more turns but kill me in 2 to so pick your choice," I told an almost dead-serious Sakura.
We have been playing for a couple of minutes now and I have to say she is good for a brain-dead moron but I can't say much. My dad I bet feels the same when we play too.
"I would rather die with honor than with stupidity," she told me back as my dad watched us from the doorway with narrowed eyes at Sakura's answer.
Surprise surprise I won but just barely so she is good. ('Too good for an idiot.' I thought. I will talk to Dad later while we play me and his nightly game before bed.)
"So fair game anyway I'm gonna go take a nap at my place cya! Yo Ruby come on! Oh, and Pineapple have a good rest of your night OK!" she yelled as she ran from the compound doors.
'Wow she is something no wonder Naruto won't shut up about her.' I smiled a little then went back inside just to see my dad smirk at me.
'Oh..nuts!'
