I am stuck in a world
In which I only though I was free
But it's all a lie
We do the same things every day
Eat, drink, sleep
And if we don't we die
There's so much evil
So much pain
And we're all locked up
Stuck in shame
And when we go to heaven
If we even remember all this
We'll look back thinking
'I lived in THAT?'
We live in a place where men go weak
And weary and die
It's always the same
The castaways are shy
The populars are snobs
The jocks are cool
On and on and on
When will it ever stop?
It's like we're in jail
It's like we're all locked up....
In heaven I know it's different
But we don't even know it
It's like freedom we never knew
It's strange, isn't it?
It's one of the most wanted things...
And yet we don't even know what it is
Or what we want
