Chapter 16

Time seemed to slow down as my eyes widened in shock. It wasn't a typical friendly peck on the lips; it was a full-on, passionate kiss that left me breathless.

Was it just a thank-you kiss for saving her and looking out for her? My mind raced, but I couldn't find an answer. Aya pulled away, her eyes locking onto mine as she swayed slightly.

I sat there, stunned and speechless. Mack and Dylan were staring at us, probably thinking it was just another playful moment. But my heart was racing, and my thoughts were a chaotic whirlwind. Blair was just as shock as me.

While Aya, like, totally leaned in on the table and seemed to, like, totally lose it., leaving me in a daze. I touched my lips, still tingling from her unexpected kiss.

It wasn't just a simple thank you, and that was the confusing part. Something about that kiss felt different and electrifying.

I glanced at my friends, busy na sila na nag uusap usap, si Blair naman ay parang nag spaced out pa, she's too lost to notice my inner turmoil. I couldn't explain what had just happened.

So, I simply sat there, lost in a sea of emotions and unanswered questions, wondering how one unexpected kiss could make me feel so different, yet so uncertain all at once.

Shit! Bakit ba parang sunod sunod yung confusion ko?

"Is she a lesbian?" Mack asked almost whispering, nang makita nitong nakatulog na nga ng tuluyan si Aya. "Why did she kiss you?"

"I don't know, Mack. She was drugged, she probably isn't aware of what she did" tanging nasabi ko, kasi di ko rin naman alam kung aware ba ito o hindi.

"So, tama ba yung narinig namin na she's Miss Freya's sister?" Si Dylan naman ang nagsalita, umupo ito sa tabi ni Blair. While Blair was still probably shocked dahil nakatulala lang ito.

I nodded. "Yeah, I know I'm not supposed to say this, pero it's not something we can tell everyone since I think their family has a conflict-

"Where is Mal?!" my words were interrupted when all of a sudden may humawak sa balikat ko at hinarap ako to face her. It was none other than the woman na kanina pa gumugulo sa isip ko.

Itinuro ko si Aya na nakadukmo na ngayon sa table namin. Wala ng malay.

"What did you do to her?!" I could hear panic in her voice when she looked at Aya. She rushed over immediately and shook her on the shoulder. And when she didn't respond, her eyes were now darker than the usual deep hazel eye color as she turned to me.

"You and your mates are a dodgy influence on her, right? How did she end up getting drugged? She was with you guys, and you didn't even notice that it went down like that? You all left her hanging!" she was screaming this time para mas marinig namin yung sinasabi niya.

Pero this ungrateful bitch was accusing us na kami pa yung bad influence eh hindi naman namin kasama si Aya na nagpunta rito!

"She was not with us!" I yelled back at her.

Pero hindi ako pinansin nito at saka nito nilapitan si Aya at saka inalalayan itong tumayo. Pero pinigilan ito ni Dylan.

"Miss Freya, kami na po" inigaw ni Dylan si Aya kay Miss Freya at ito na ang nag alalay dito. Si Freya naman ay sumunod na palabas.

At dahil sa inis ay sumunod na rin ako, si Blair and Mack naman ay nagpaiwan lang. I want to explain myself to her, she was accusing me of something na hindi naman totoo.
