"I can't wait for them to grow up, Lee!"

Mr. Song casually offered his best friend aka his partner in crime a handshake which the other man returned immediately with a broad smile.

"Haha. Same!" Mr. Lee - the said best friend/ the said partner in crime echoed. "Sunhee, let's go home."

From the small playground at the back of the Song mansion, there was the little seven year-old Lee Sunhee running in the man's direction, following her was the only son of the Songs - Song Mingi, who was also seven years old - Sunhee's friend.

"Don't forget to bring my toy cars next time, Sunhee!"

After bidding Mr. Lee goodbye with a respectful bow and earning a soft head pat from the man, Mingi hurriedly called the girl out.

"I know! You've been saying that like a parrot," She yelled back from her father's car window, "See you."

Little Mingi stood there until the car was no longer in sight. He then rushed back inside, across the garden, into his house, only being greeted by his mother who wore a cheeky smile on her face.

"Sunhee is a pretty girl huh?"

Mingi's head tilted as to the random question. Mrs. Song looked at her son as she waited for him to give off some reaction.

It was clear that the Songs and Lees had a fondness towards each other. The adults just wanted to test the water to see their kids' compatibility. Though banter eruptted here and there, it could be considered as 'acceptable' term, an average start for them.

"Hm... Just average." Mingi touched his chin as if he spent all brain cells into his sincerely serious response.

To his surprise (or shock even), the little boy earned a chunk of entertained laughter from mother Song.

"Mom? Why are you laughing so hard??"
