pablo can't be serious , can he?

i need time to process this . sofija is alive . why didn't she come back for us?

right , she lost her memory .

i have so many questions , but seeing pablos broken face told me enough to realize she doesn't remember anything .

how do you get someone to trust you again?

we agreed on going over to sofijas tomorrow after training .

„what about jude and karina?"

i asked after a moment of silence and gavi shrugged his shoulders .

„how do we tell them?"

i had no answer to that and pablo also wasn't looking for one .

„you think we'll get her back somehow?"

„i googled how you make memories appear again"

„and?"

„i mean , they aren't gone , just somewhere deep down in her mind . so we can do something . we can remind her of old things , tell her stories , show affection"

„you've never been crazy over the touch of one person?"

i stayed quiet .

i said as she opened the door , revealing me and gavi and her with gavira junior on one arm .

„dear god what do you want?"

she said , looking over to gavi as i tried as hard as i could not to flinch at her harsh tone .

„mari- sofija . we want you to remember"

i can hear how much saying „sofija" instead of mariposa hurts him .

„what if i don't want to remember?"

„sofija . molim"

now she winced when i spoke serbian . i started to pick up a few things due the cookbook .

„nekad"

before she could close the door , gavi stepped between it .

„please sofija , let us help you"

„and how do you think you can help me? i am not able to be cured from this!"

„that's exactly what you said 3 years ago when you had the heart defect . now look at you , all healthy and grown up"

is stepped closer while saying that .

„this is different"

„just try . i promise you you won't regret it"

sofija sighed , having an inner fight with herself . then the baby on her arms opened his eyes , just as she was looking into gavis .

„okay . i will try . but don't be .... disappointed"

gavi replied to her , we both knew we would be disappointed if this won't work the way we wanted to , but if we never try , we'll never get her back .
