New Friends New Beginings

Mike's POV

I asked Kate where Tanner lived so they could say their good byes. She told me it was 2 hours away in Greenwood. I talked to the rest of the guys and they were okay with it. So we went 2 hours out of out way to say good bye to Tanner.

When we got to Greenwood, we found his house and told him the story. Kate had gone back to sleep so Tanner woke her up. The both gleamed with excitement and exchanged addresses. Also, Tanner gave Kate her old bass that he had borrowed. It was sad seeing her leave him, but it was for the best.

//////one week later//////

We pulled in at the venue in Oakland. I saw Adie, Joey, Jakob, Tré's wife and Frankito. They were all waiting.

As soon as Tré got out, he ran to his wife. "heyyyyy!!!" they both screeched in unison. The started to make out and ran into the venue leaving little Frankito very confused.

"hey honey!" Billie said to Adie. They also started to make out but Joey stopped them. "get a room!" he spat. We all laughed. Adie caught sight of Kate and ran up to her. "hi, I'm Adrienne, Billie's wife!" she introduced her self softly. Kate clutched my hand. "it's okay" I whispered. She loosened her grip and smiled. "hi!" she chirped.

We went back stage into the room marked Green Day.

When we went onstage, everyone watched from the side. Kate was called on for the last song; Good Riddance. She ran into my arms. "this is Mike's newly adopted daughter, Kate!" Billie screamed into the mic. The crowd dawww'd. Some said congratulations.

Billie started playing. Being as it was an acoustic song, Tré and I sat down and played Ninja Turtles with Kate. I was Raph and Leo, Tré was Donnie and Kate was Mikey.

I looked up from playing only to see every news paper and magazine taking pictures of us. I didn't care though, we were Ninja Turtles.
