Shit, shit, shit.
How did he know about Kiyana?
Somethings wrong here. I have no idea what it is, but I don't feel at ease having Tino here.
I know for fact that his dad was not named Giovanni, but I have no clue what he looks like so he could've lied about his name.
I'm so stupid. He could be planning to kidnap me and my kid and I was giggling and kicking my feet like a fucking idiot.
Dammit he's so fine.
God Zariah stop thinking with your vagina and think of a way to get out of here.
Okay. I could tell Loretta Tino's not feeling well and I'm going to take him home, sneak out the back door and drive home.
Yeah that's a good idea.
I gather my things and make my way to Loretta's office. To my surprise Tino wasn't lying. I could hear faint moaning inside. I knock loudly so whatever she was doing would immediately halt.
For a few moments I hear a bit of scrambling and small whispers. The door swings open revealing a very dishevelled Loretta. Her lipstick was smeared, shirt button wronged and her chest heaving up and down. I tried to hide my disgust.
"Hey Loretta, I was wondering if I could leave a earlier today. Antonio is not feeling well and I think I should take him home." She kept checking behind her as if she was making sure whoever it is was hidden.
"Oh yeah of course amore. Just make sure to clock out so I don't pay you for the time you didn't work." She says with a smile.
"Yeah of course." I turn to leave, but stop again.
"Just in case I don't see you again for whatever reason, I just want to thank you for everything." My voice shakes trying to hold back tears forcing their way out.
"Of-of course." Her face reveals a sad smile mixed with confusion.
I run down the stairs and into the kitchen where I left Tino with one of the chefs on their breaks. I lift him up and speed walk to my car. I didn't want to run. It would only make everyone worry.
I unlock the doors and strap Tino into his car seat. I close the door and open mine until a large hands slams it back shut.
I scream but I don't turn around because I know exactly who it is.
"Turn around baby." He whispers against my ear.
It sends shivers down my spine, but not in a good way. There was fear filling the entirety of my body. I could feel the tears brimming my eyes. His voice wasn't sweet, playful or neutral. It full of authority and sternness.
"Please don't hurt him." My voice cracked as I slowly turn to face him.
He pouts and gently wipes the tears off my face. "I most definitely will not hurt him."
"But you. Well that will all depend on your behaviour and ability to listen."
Every word that left his mouth was laced with cruelty. His eyes were dark and completely lifeless.
"Okay." Is all I manage to squeak out.
I knew at that very moment the playful, charming man in the restaurant was now dead and gone.
