Aurelia and Fred woke up at around 8:00 to the sound of someone apparating outside. Remus had already rushed downstairs, Fred and Aurelia grabbing their wands and following him outside. Outside stood a figure with fiery red hair and a scar going across his nose, who put his hands up as soon as the three pointed their wands at him.
"Where did the Weasley family go on vacation the summer of Ron's third year?" Fred says, the man nodding "Egypt" Fred nods to Remus, and all three lower their wands. He walks up and hugs the figure "What're you doing here Charlie?" Charlie hugs him back "I'm here to help you guys. And I'm here for the wedding"
"What's all the commotion about?" George says, Fred pulling away from Charlie. George smiles and walks up, hugging Charlie quickly before pulling away "Welcome home!"
"The hell happened to you?" George nods "Got hit with a nasty spell. It's healing, I'm fine" Charlie nods, sighing quietly "You scared the shit out of me" Fred frowns slightly "We have to make sure everyone here is real. We had a death eater at Hogwarts"
"Yeah, I heard about that. Glad you lot are ok" George nods "Come inside. Mum will be thrilled you're here" Charlie nods, following his brothers inside. Harry, Ginny, Molly, and Ron were in the living room, all getting ready for the wedding. Charlie smiles, seeing Molly look over "Charlie!"
"Hi, mum" He says as she hugged him. He hugged her back, smiling faintly. He pulled away "Where's Bill?" Ginny walks up "Getting ready like the rest of us" Charlie nods "Right, I'll catch him before the wedding I suppose"
Charlie glances at Harry "Hi, Charlie Weasley" Harry nods, walking up and offering a handshake to Charlie, which the redhead accepts "Harry Potter"
"I've heard a lot about you from my family. I'm glad you're all safe" He says, reaching over to ruffle Ginny's hair. She smacks his hand away with a laugh "Oh come off it Charlie!"
He smirks, turning to Harry "It's good to have you, Harry. And it was nice to meet you" Molly places a hand on Charlie's shoulder "Bill's upstairs" Charlie nods "Thank you, Mum"
Charlie excused himself before heading upstairs to his brother's room. He opened the door quietly, finding Bill tying his tie. Charlie leaned against the door "That's a pretty badass scar" Charlie said, Bill turning around. Bill chuckled quietly "Thanks" He walked up and hugged his little brother, Charlie hugging him back. They'd always been very close, as they were only two years apart. Charlie pulls away "I'm glad you're ok. I would've come to see you in recovery but one of my dragons got sick and I couldn't leave"
"Hey, it isn't a big deal. I'm glad you're here now" Charlie smiled and nodded, patting Bills shoulder "Shake the nerves, you'll do great" Bill nods, letting out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding.
After many many hours of preparation, the ceremony had begun. And as quickly as it began, it commenced. Everyone was at the reception, enjoying the festivities, which were a wonderful distraction from everything. Charlie was talking to Remus and Tonks, the twins and Aurelia talking to multiple different people. Bill and Fleur danced the night away, but then, a messenger orb blasted through the roof. Kingsley's voice echoed across the room
"The ministry has fallen. The minister of magic is dead. They are coming. They are coming. They are coming" Everyone began panicking, Charlie instantly running up to Bill and Fleur "What's going on?" Bill shakes his head "I don't know"
Bill, Fleur, and Charlie all pull out their wands, death eaters barging into the venue and killing multiple people. One approached Charlie Bill and Fleur just as the twins and Aurelia ran up behind them. Charlie casted a protection spell, and before he could think he shouted "Avada Kedavra!" And killed the death eater. He froze, Bill grabbing his arm "Charlie, we must go!" Charlie shakes his head "No, mum and dad, they-"
Before Charlie could speak, they all disapparated.
