Aurelia came downstairs one morning to get breakfast, finding a plate of food on the table, Fred sitting at the table. It was just him, everyone else seemed to still be asleep. She smiles faintly "Good morning" He nods "Morning. I made you breakfast" Aurelia smiles, sitting down at the table as he pushes the plate of food and the silverware to her "Thank you, love"
He nods, putting his cheek in his hand as she began to eat. He made her her favorite breakfast, eggs, bacon, and toast with jam. She looked at him as he stared at her, smirking "What?" He shrugs "You're just so beautiful" Aurelia snorts "You're a dork" She jokes, taking his hand "But you're handsome, so it's alright"
She noticed his hand felt clammy, and frowned slightly "You feeling alright?" He nods "Of course, I'm fine. Why?" She shrugs "You're hands seem clammy" He doesn't answer, instead just letting her eat.
Once she'd finished her food, she got up to put her dish in the sink. When she turned around, she saw Fred behind her. She jumped a bit, chuckling "You scared me, what's up?"
"Give me your hands" He says, holding out his hands to her. With a strange look on her face, she put her hands in his. He took a deep breath "I don't know if we're going to make it out of this alive, Lia. These past few years of dating have been amazing, but I want something more" She raises an eyebrow "What is this Fred..?"
He kneeled down in front of her, letting go of her hands, which instantly found their place over her mouth as he pulled a ring out of his pocket. It was small, with a silver band and a small black diamond "I know I don't have much, but I love you a lot. So, Aurelia Snape, will you marry me?" She nodded profusely, swallowing thickly as if swallowing the lump in her throat "Yes!" She finally said, falling down into his arms. He wraps his arms around her, smiling widely "I'm sorry, I know the ring isn't the best but I-"
"Oh, hush! The ring's perfect!" She chuckles out, pulling away "It's perfect" She says, smiling. He takes her left hand, sliding the ring onto her ring finger. She looks at it with a smile "I love you so much Fred" She says, looking at him. He nods "I love you too Lia"
