Chapter 2

It had been 2 months since Chandler had caught Sarah cheating on him. He was all alone in his house watching YouTube on TV. He had become depressed since the incident. He barely got out as much besides working, and he would be less interested in things. He was deciding on what to watch on YouTube. He finally decided to watch some Markiplier videos, specifically his FNAF videos. When he clicked on one of the videos, and ad popped up, as it would about every video he would watch. The ad that showed up showed a robot, but it was an anthropomorphic animal like robot that looked like a canine with a black visor for its face and it has fur on it.

"This right here is called a protogen." A male narrator voice said on the advertisement. "The protogens that are made here are made with advanced AI that can be your friend and can even you help with daily tasks around your home. To order one, visit our website, buyyourprotogen.com and you can make your very own protogen."

The ad ends and the video starts. But Chandler would pause the video before it would start and thought about the ad. He could use a friend, he had a friend at work named Jacob, but with his depression and his work schedule , he didn't have much time to hang out with him, and not to mention to could use some help around the house, since he hasn't done much cleaning since because he was alone, and didn't feel like cleaning after a day of work.

Chandler got his phone off the table and went to the website he saw on the ad. When he got into the website, he saw a button that said customize your protogen button and clicked on it. He then saw a protogen that was just all white, but then he saw the options to customize specific parts of the protogen like the fur color, visor color, and even it's gender. Chandler was confused why it would need a gender, but he shrugged it off. He even saw that he could get clothes for the protogen to wear. Chandler would customize it with have black fur, with a red visor color which meant it would have red eyes and mouth, it would even have a red stripe on its tail. On the gender part, he still was confused why they would make a gender option, but he would need to decide. Chandler would decide to flip a coin to decide what gender to make it. He grabbed a quarter and made a decision that if it landed on heads, he would make it male, if tails, he would make it female. He then flipped the coin into the air, and as it came down, he grabbed it with one hand, put it on his arm and it ended up being tails.

'Welp, looks it going to be a female' Chandler though.

Chandler clicks on the option to make it female, he would pick the clothes for the protogen and then he was finally finished making the protogen. He clicked on the finish button then it took him to the page where he could buy it and finish the ordering process. He saw the price of it and it's was actually less expensive than he thought. He clicked on the purchase button and a text showed up on the screen that said, "Thank you for purchasing our protogen. It will arrive in 4 to 7 days".

5 days later...

Chandler was laying on his couch taking a nap, until he heard a knock on the door. He got up, went to the door and opened it. He saw a UPS man with a big box that about 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

"Are you Chandler sir?" The UPS man asked.

"Yes I am"

"Sign here please"

The UPS man handed Chandler a clipboard with paper on it for him to sign. Chandler signed the sheet, and the UPS man helped Chandler get the crate into his home. Chandler thanked the UPS man, gave him a 5 dollar tip, and then the UPS man left. Chandler went and grabbed his pocket knife and he sliced the box opened. He now saw what was called a protogen. It was exactly what he looked like when he created it, black fur, a black visor for a face with a canine head, and with a red stripe on its fluffy tail. It's body was certainly feminine. It had boobs with no nipples, and a nice behind, and had curves like a lady. It was basically naked, but it was all covered in fur, except for its visor of course. Chandler then saw a suitcase beside the protogen in the box and decided to grab it, set it on the couch, and open it. He saw the clothes he pick for the protogen and an instruction manual for the protogen and decided to read it.

He learned that he could just turn on the protogen with the button on the back of the head, it would be fully charged since they charged it before delivering it, and it could recharge itself by sleeping. Chandler found it a little strange it could sleep, but better than charging it like a phone. It was waterproof, and it can help with household chores. Chandler put down the manual and went to the protogen to turn it on.
