Chapter 4

It was early morning(specifically 7am) as Chandler woke up from his slumber. He stretched a little on the bed and turned over to realize that Rose was still sleeping. He almost forgot about her sleeping on his bed. A faint blush covered his face as he watched her sleep. She looked so  peaceful and cute. He wanted to pet her so bad, but didn't want to wake her. He did however needed to use the restroom, so he got up, and went to the bathroom. As he was doing his business, Rose started to digitally open her eyes as she woke up. She heard a toilet flush and the sink running. She assumed it was Chandler and was correct. Chandler got out of the bathroom where he saw Rose awake.

"Oh, morning Rose"

"Morning Chandler, how did you sleep?" Rose said with a smile, and her tail slightly wagging.

"Fine, can't complain." Chandler replied.

"Well that's good, do you what me to make you some breakfast?" Rose asked.

"Uhh... Sure, I'd like some eggs, hash browns, and turkey bacon please"

"Great I'll get to it." She got out of bed and headed to the kitchen. Chandler went to the living room, sat on the couch, and began to watch TV. Rose grabbed all the stuff she needed to make his meal.

"How do you want your eggs?"

"Fried please." Chandler replied.

Rose nodded and went back to cooking. After about 20 minutes, she was finished cooking, and put the food on the plate and grabbed a fork for him, and walked over to Chandler.

"Here you go" Rose handed you the plate full of food.

"Thanks" Chandler grabbed the plate and fork and began eating. It was delicious, eggs were seasoned well, nothing was undercooked, it was all delicious. I finished the whole plate of food and I was full.

"That was delicious" Chandler said.

Rose's tail started to wag as she heard the compliment.

"Aww thanks"

Rose grabbed his plate and rinsed it off in the sink. After that, she went back to the couch and sat by him.

"When do you have to head to work?" Rose asked

"At 10 am" Chandler replied.

"Where do you work at?"

"At a Italian restaurant"

"Oh really?" Rose said.

"Yep, been working there for over a year now, I enjoy it. I mainly cook food."

"That's nice" Rose replied.

"It is" Chandler said. Chandler look at at the time and saw it was 8.

"Alright, I better get myself cleaned up before work" Chandler said as he got up.

"Ok, if you need any help, let me know." Rose said

Chandler blushed at the statement, the thought of her helping him in the shower made him flustered.

"Uhh... thanks, but I think I'll be fine" Chandler said.

Chandler headed to the bathroom, got unchanged and took a nice warm shower. After his shower, he got changed into appropriate clothes for work and went back to the living room, Rose was still on the couch, watching TV. Chandler sat down next to her, and unexpectedly, Rose scooched closer to him, which made him blush.

"So, do you want me to do today while you are away?". Rose asked.

"Oh, uhh, I guess just look around and see what needs to be done." Chandler replied.

"Sounds good to me"

They both continued to watch TV.

It was now 9:30am and Chandler needed to get going. He put on his shoes, grabbed his keys, wallet and phone and went to Rose.

"Alright Rose, I better get going."

"Ok, have a good day" Rose replied.

Chandler exited out his house and went to work, leaving Rose all alone in his home. Rose started to look around to see what needed to be done. She saw quite a bit that needed to get cleaned. She started by washing his laundry, after that, she cleaned the dishes, did some dusting and vacuuming, then later she put his clothes in the dryer, after they were done, she fold them nicely on his bed, and put them in the appropriate drawers. She then decided to clean the bathroom. The cleaned the tub, toilet, floors, sink, all of it. After a while, she was finally done cleaning the place. She smiled to herself for what she did, the place looked good as new. Now with nothing else to do, she decided to watch some YouTube on TV. As she watched, she started to get lonely. Rose already started to miss Chandler, and even though they only known each for about a day, she enjoyed his company. A slight frown appears on her visor as she was thought about Chandler.

'I hope he gets back soon' Rose thought.

(Timeskip to about 6pm)

It was about Chandler's time to go home. It was a long day today as it was more busy than usual. I sighed out of tiredness and annoyance I he just wanted to go home.

"Long day?"

Chandler turned around and saw his co-worker/friend Jacob.

"Yes, a very long day" Chandler replied.

"I feel ya, today was wild."

"Yeah, i don't think we ever cooked that many meals in a day ever."

"I know, people just kept coming in." Jacob said.

Me and Jacob clocked out and grabbed our stuff and headed out the restaurant door.

"Hey, do you have the day off tomorrow?" Jacob asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Do you wanna hang out tomorrow at your place?"

"Oh, yeah we can do that, come by sometime afternoon" Chandler replied.

"Great, I'll text you when I'm heading there, later man." Jacob saids then walks away.

"Later Jacob"

Chandler headed to his car, got in, then headed home. Meanwhile, Rose was still watch TV just waiting for Chandler to get home. A saden face was still on her visor as she was now laying on the couch. She wondered how late he was going to be since he didn't tell her what time he got off work, and was hoping he would be home soon.
