𝒕𝒊̀𝒍𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒐𝒗

I opened my eyes and I was in marui. But I thought I fell asleep outside? Outside with aonung... I sat up and felt someone poke my side.

I turned to see neteyam laying on his side, his arm propping him up. "Why are you looking at me like that? " I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Where were you last night? " he spoke seriously.

"Uhm outside why? "

"Alone? " he sat up fully

"Yeah"

He crossed his arms giving me the 'I'm not stupid' look. "You have one more chance to tell me the truth or I'm telling mom and dad.

I groaned "fine... I was with aonung... " I mumbled

"Tìlor" neteyam spoke. I knew what he wanted.

"I was with aonung" I spoke louder.

"You were out so late what were you guys doing? "

"Nothing we weren't doing anything! I was just telling him about the forest" I left out the part where I was crying. "How'd you even know I was outside with him"

"I saw him carry you in"

Oh, so that's how I got in here.

"Yeah I just fell asleep" I giggle sarcastically while scratching the back of my neck.

Neteyam hummed as a response. "Well we're going to be learning the sign language today if you wanna come" he flopped himself back onto his hammock.

I nodded and walked over to mom where she was cutting up fruit.

As I finished eating I heard tsireya voice. "Are you guys ready? " she held her hands behind her smiling at us.

"Yes! " tuk shot up and skipped towards the entrance as the rest of us followed. When I walked out I noticed aonung wasn't there. Weird.

We walked to the shore and sat down in a circle. "Okay let's start with the basics! " tsireya smiled.

"𝒍𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝒈𝒐 𝒔𝒘𝒊𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈" she signed as we all attempted to copy her.

I moved my hands the way I had seen her move hers. "You're doing it wrong" I turned around and saw aonung crouching down fixing my fingers. "Like this"

"Oh there you are! " tsireya smiled

Aonung nodded to her and squeezed himself between me and neteyam. "Where were you? " I asked

"Why? Missed me? " he smirked at me as I rolled my eyes at him.

"What, no! " he chuckled and I continued to listen to tsireya.

"This is beautiful" she signed beautiful as we all copied her.

I did the sign and turned to aonung "is this to your standards" I mocked him as he chuckled.

"Yes it's 'up to my standards' " he mocked my voice as I shoved him. He then lifted his hand and signed something to me.

"What was that? " I asked confused

"Something" he shook his head while smiling.

"Yes it's 'up to my standards' " I increased the pitch of my voice to try and copy her, resulting in her shoving me.

I lifted my hand and signed to her "𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍"

"What was that" she tilted her head in confusion

I shook my head and smiled "something"

It had been a couple hours and I've managed to remember most of what tsireya taught us. Me and my siblings headed back to our marui.

Kiri stayed outside and lo'ak went to go hang out with tsireya. I was lost in thought when I heard my dad's voice. "tìlor"

"Yes dad? " I turned towards him.

"Can you go find kiri and lo'ak dinner is about to be ready"

"I don't want to go alone" I flopped myself onto the floor and whined.

"I'll come let's go" neteyam stood over me and walked to the door.

"Thank you neteyam. " my dad thanked him and we both walked out.

As we were walking we heard a bunch of laughter and shouting. "What's going on? " I moved my head around trying to find the source.

"Is that kiri? " neteyam squinted his eyes.

"I think it is" I squinted my eyes seeing her standing with lo'ak and a group of guys. Aonung and his friends.
