Amethyst's Prov

I knew from there appearances that something was wrong right when they walked back in the room. They both looked like a reck but I never thought I would hear the words that came out of there mouths.

"Fabian didn't make it"

Was all it took for me to start crying into Calum's shoulder. Sure I never saw or met Fabian but he's Carly and Calum's son and he shouldn't of died so soon. He was too young. Not even a day old.

Why does life have to be so cruel. Like sure you can get rid of my parents but get rid of my best friends kid, what are you trying to do? I was fine with just me suffering but now I have to watch them suffer.

Carly went home after three days so did Calum. Everyone was grieving now. But the worst part was watching Carly walk into her room to see the stuff meant for Fabian. We had to take everything meant for Fabian out of her room and into the basement so Carly could relax a bit and not cry every time she walked into her room.

Carly and Calum visit Kiersten every day. she's finally getting better and should be able to be taken home in a couple of weeks.

Me and the others decided just not to talk about what happened in front of Calum and Carly. Every time it's brought up they start crying and then we all start to cry and we all just ruined our mood for the day.

Kiersten was brought home today. She really is tiny, only 6 pounds. Carly doesn't want anyone to touch her because she's scared she'll get hurt. their mood has brightened sense Kiersten has been home and I'm glad of that.

"How does it feel to have her here?" Shannon asks.

"Amazing" Carly says with a small smile looking down at Kiersten in her arms.

"I'm just glad you guys are happy" I say and I see Calum flinch.

Calum gets up and puts his food away.

"I have to go pick up Joey at a friends. I almost forgot" Calum says giving Carly and Kiersten a quick kiss before leaving the room.

"That was weird" I say.

"Yah I know he never forgets" Carly says.

"No that's not what I meant. I saw Joey like an hour ago outside with her dad" I tell them.

"Maybe she went to her friends for a bit" Shannon suggests and I shrug.

"Maybe" I say taking a sip of my water.
