A casino! I'd never been to one. The outside was already eye-catching. There was a huge neon flower, the petals lit up and blinked. No one went in or out, but the doors were open. The air conditioner spilled out. It smelled like flowers.

I instantly rushed inside.

I felt something in my skin. The hairs on my arm stood on its end.

This feeling...

It was probably the air conditioner.

I heard the doorman speaking to Bianca behind me. I looked at the man, his level of cursed energy was average.

He didn't look like a monster either. It was great that the casino was not a trap.

Inside was far cooler than outside. It was full of lights and different games. Water slides, a glass elevator going up at least forty floors. A climbing wall and several casino games like roulettes, blackjack, and poker. To the side, there were also slot machines.

I rushed toward the gambling games. A hand grabbed the back of my collar and pulled me. I almost fell backward. "Hold on Nico," Bianca stopped me, "We need to get our room number." I forgot completely that in this life I had a sister for a second there. We hadn't interacted for that much time, so it was hard to recall.

"Oh, here it is. You two had a reservation. The Di Angelos right?" A waiter, or butler... someone who worked in the casino approached us. "Everything is already paid for. You may play any of the games you wish." He handed Bianca the room key. It had a small keychain with the number of our room too.

I stared at her. Now that we had the room number and key she should not have any reservations about letting me go. Bianca looked very suspicious, but I didn't care! I rushed to the slot machines.

There were no windows and chips flew as people raged and went on to other games. It was just like I expected. It was full of people with weird clothing playing games. Most were gambling in the casino or enjoying the "This is amazing!"

Bianca sighed in relief and immediately went to the food aisle to the side. There were all kinds of food there. I sat down in front of the Slot Machines. I put my hand in front of it and closed my eyes. These machines were usually rigged, so money was constantly spent on them. These ones seemed to be for free, so I immediately wanted to check if there was some form of trick to it.

How? Simple. I was no genius or engineer, but I knew something. Technology hadn't advanced much at all in the year I was brought to. I was in the ancient past, they didn't have digital technology back then, and almost everything ran on analog, not to mention that the laser wasn't even invented yet.

By focusing my cursed energy on my shadows and then putting my head against the small ledge of the slot machine, I could put my eyes through the machine to check out how it worked from the inside.

It was confusing, full of wires and small levers. In other words, I had no clue what was going on inside there. I took my head out and clasped my hands together. "Well, there's no shame in trying things."

I used the space between my wrists as I clasped my hands to pull the lever, then incompletely summoned one Divine Wolf inside the machine.

Through a few well-placed cursed restrictions I was able to change its size. The last step was to order it to pull levers randomly while inside the slot machine. Several of them did nothing but stop the slot machine from working. The last one though --

Chriiiing!

Jackpot.

I smiled as the chips fell. I grabbed all of them and looked at the small chart next to me to translate how much I had just won. "One Hundred dollars? Only?" I pocketed the chips upset then moved to the next slot machine and did the same.
