A/N: Welp 'bout the post I made on the 17th... I LIED...

Also I was thinking about making this story gory as fuck, but changed my mind 'cos that might be VERY disturbing to some people. But, if you want me to do a separate gory 1shot or series of 1shots just tell me :))

All of the artwork is made by me :)

TW: teeny bit of swearing, kinda creepy (and badly drawn) pictures

His head hurt, it felt like exploding.

His arms were as if made of lead, impossible to lift.

His legs felt numb, like they were encased in concrete.

Where was he?

He wanted to speak, but he couldn't make a sound. He struggled to even think, let alone do something else.

Slowly he opened his eyes and was instantly blinded by a white light above him.

"Ughh..." A groan escaped from his mouth, as his eyes closed to try and block out the light.

He tried to sit up, but kept on failing. Something was holding him down. He waited for a few minutes until he regained consciousness and then a wave of feelings hit him.

He felt immediate pain in his arms, as well as multiple cold things touching his skin. He wanted to move his arms, rip out whatever was touching him and escape.

Finally he opened his eyes again, only to be met with darkness... And a strange flashing blue light? What the hell?

And a strange flashing blue light? What the hell?

Configuration? What was that supposed to mean?

AND WAIT WHAT IS THIS ON MY HEAD? WHAAAA- WHY IS IT COVERING MY FACE?

WAIT- HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT PICTURE- That is single-handedly the most terrifying loading or... uhm, configuration screen I've seen in my life-

WAIT A MINUTE AM I ALIVE AT ALL? The last thing I remember is... Being brutally murdered by was it Meggy? Naw, she'd never do that to me?

W-would she?

SMG4 was stuck in thought while the configuration screen danced in front of his eyes. The bright colours would burn any man's retinas to a crisp, thankfully SMG4 was resistant even to Discord light mode. So, he would be fine.

The blue number finally turned from a two-digit to a three-digit number. The 99% finally got an upgrade... To 100%.

SMG4's vision at first was a bit blurry, but not because of him. It seemed more like he was looking through some really scratched glasses or glasses that aren't actually his.

As his vision adjusted, he saw the bright white light again and his eyes snapped shut. That was until he heard a robotic female voice...

"Light mode. Activated."

The woman's voice spoke and SMG4 could hear it so clearly it was like the words were whispered into his ear.

He yelped and almost fell off... the thing he was laying on? Well, he didn't even see his surroundings so he guessed he was probably on a bed of some sorts, since it was soft. But, the cold things he felt on his arms held him in place.

He finally dared to open his eyes and he saw the light again. But, this time it was dim enough for him to be able to look at it. Guess that robot woman must have given him sunglasses or something-

He saw a bright white light. It was surrounded by some sort of red aura and neon blue lights flashed on each side. He couldn't yet make out what they were saying, but he figured it would take a bit of time for his vision to adjust.

He looks around to see dull, grey walls and the only source of light being that one bright white light above him. He looks down to see his arms.

They were a normal-ish colour. Well, not like he could really tell what was a normal colour. He only knew something was really wrong if he saw his veins being pink. And if that happened again... Not sure how he would get out of that one-

'Cos it would be too late to save himself if his veins turned pink again... Besides who said he would notice right away? If he learnt anything from It's Gotta Be Perfect, it was that he could just start doing something and zone out for hours, days and even weeks.

He tried sitting up again and he failed. Again. But, this time he felt stinging pain in his arms, like something was being ripped out of them.

He slowly turned his head to finally get a look at what was on his arms. He wanted his head to move quicker, but he couldn't do anything. That thing on his head, that kinda reminded him of a VR headset, was waayy too heavy.

Before he got a proper look at his arms his head started to feel very heavy. He fell back onto the soft, soft pillows. He felt like something was pulling him to sleep. And he couldn't resist.

After everything he'd been through, he was still really, really tired. Between It's Gotta Be Perfect and Western Spaghetti he was exhausted. Thankfully, he knew how to hide it from his friends... Everyone who actually cared about him.

His vision went dark as he closed his eyes. A sort of... peaceful darkness, if you will. He usually didn't like the dark, but this time it was... sorta therapeutic.

Man, if he could dream only of this darkness well he would be perfect-ly fine. If he had no more nightmares plaguing his sleep, maybe he would look better too. Look less sleep deprived. He always looked like he never actually got out of Peach's castle, like he wasn't ever actually saved from those horrors.

Well...

He never actually was saved. Even in this state of being, well where was he? What was he now?

Alive? Dead? Or somewhere in between?

The darkness filled his brain. Even if he opened his eyes he wouldn't see anything else. Probably just a visual glitch, right?

Hmm. Now that's a question he should have paid more attention to. But, then again it was probably hard for him to do that since-

Guess we'll never know...

Right?
