"Out of sight, out of mind," Imani listened to Jay Rock rap, as she and her friends drove to their university.
She loved the song OSOM, maybe because it was pronounced awesome or maybe because she always felt like she was out of her mind.
Imani plus her two bestfriends, all attended Spelman college. They've been friends since pre-school & all bonded over sharing the same birthday. They also bond over their reckless lifestyle, but that's for another time.
Imani parked beside Ebony, while Michaela parked beside Imani. They all live together but drive separate cars just to show them off.
Imani drove a black Range Rover Convertible, with a red interior. Michaela drove a pink Genesis Convertible, with a black interior. Ebony drove a red Rolls Royce Convertible, with a brown interior.
"Bitchhh, I miss my mannn," Ebony said, as they got out the cars in sync.
"WHAT FOCKIN MAN?" Michaela & Imani yelled in unison.
"I told y'all last night when I got home," Ebony said with an eye roll.
"Bitch you know we was half sleep, you didn't come home until eleven. I needs my beauty sleep, I am a scholar," Michaela said, rolling her neck.
Imani just laughed as they walked to class. They all are majoring in nursing & medical assisting services. Because their parents are partially wealthy, they're paying for their house & cars while they're going through school.
"It doesn't matter, y'all tell me stuff when I'm partially sleep. Don't I always remember?" Ebony said, her feelings kind of hurt.
They noticed her face and immediately gave her a hug. Ebony didn't really show her feelings and when she did, they paid close attention.
"You do always remember, and we love you for that," Imani said, as Ebony smiled at the small reassurance.
"I love my bitches too," she said lovingly as she hugged their heads from behind.
"But since y'all wasn't listening," she said as she stopped them and turned around. "We're going to the club tonight to meet my mann and his homeboys." she said doing the Lil Kim dance.
They both turned around like they were looking for who she was talking to while saying, "Who the hell you talking to?" & "Bitch who the hell going to the club?"
"Ughhh, y'all so lamee," Ebony said while throwing a mini tantrum. "Y'all owe me for being mean to me, but I can't force y'all to go," she said trying to jokingly manipulate them.
Michaela was always down for a wild night out but she had classes earlier the next day, she was still contemplating. "You know I'm always down but I got early classes tomorrow."
"Girl it's okay, I just didn't want to be around him and his friends by myself," Ebony said.
"It's okay, I'll go. I ain't got nothing to do anyways," Imani reassured her. Meanwhile Ebony was slightly bent over giving her a confused look.
