Jiang walked into the the city, lit up by the fading light of the sunset.
She checked her phone making sure she was in the right place that Mei had texted her. She sat down on a bench in the park, waiting for the dragon girl to show up.
Then a familiar green and white motorcycle pulled up on the street where Jiang was sitting.

Mei got off and pulled her helmet off.
"Hey Jiang!" She chirped.

"Hey Mei. So what'd you call me over here for?" Jiang said, standing up.

"Well I remembered the other day that you mentioned you were curious about how it felt to ride a motorcycle, and I'm practicing for another race so I was wondering if you wanna go on a motorcycle ride with me?" Mei said presenting her motorcycle like a game show host.

Jiang thought about it for a moment. She was curious, and seeing as Mei liked racing so much she might as well give it a shot right?

She shrugged. "Got a helmet for me?" Jiang asked.

Mei tossed her a helmet, a black and pink one.

"Got it made specifically for you!" Mei said giving Jiang a wink.

"Heh, I like it, thanks Mei." Jiang said, slipping it on.

Mei hopped back onto her bike and patted the spot behind her for Jiang.
Jiang hopped on and instinctively wrapped her arms around Mei. She glanced at the ground, and then Mei.

"Don't worry, I've been driving for a few years, so you're completely safe." Mei reassured the white monkey.

Jiang's tail flicked in skepticism but she nodded anyways.
Mei started it up and the engine revved loudly. Jiang noticed how Mei had made her helmet to block out the loud noises of the motorcycle.
Jiang ears had become more sensitive to noise especially in her monkey form since she had four of them.

"Sound dulling pads? You know me too well Mei!" Chuckled Jiang.

"Gotta make sure my girl bestie isn't uncomfortable!" Said Mei.

Then they drove, the wind blowing against their bodies. The soft noises of the city rushing past them as Mei drove. They drove down alleys and streets, dodging any traffic. The fading daylight cast shadows about the city, the glow of the sunset turning the sky shades of pinks and oranges.

"How is it so far?" Shouted Mei, with a laugh in her tone.

Jiang laughed and pressed her head against Mei's back.
"This is fun! I can see why you like this!" Shouted Jiang.

They quickly swerved right, the two girls laughing and enjoying the motorcycle ride. As Mei drove through a higher ground area, Jiang let out a whoop of joy that everyone below could hear. Eventually the sky faded to darkness and Mei pulled up at the edge of the forest, Macaque's dojo was in.

Jiang got off, giggling like a little kid in a candy store.
She pulled off her helmet, her white hair a bit messy from it.

"That was awesome! Man we gotta do this again sometime!" Jiang giggled.

"Yeah! How about next week on Saturday? Who knows maybe I might teach you how to drive one of these!" Chuckled Mei.

"Errr, don't think I'm ready enough for that but yeah! Next week sounds great!" Jiang chirped.

"Cool! See ya later Lotus!" Mei said, as she started the motorcycle back up.

"Later Mei!" Exclaimed Jiang as she drove away.

Jiang watched the dragon girl drive off till she couldn't see her anymore. Jiang sighed contentedly, a warm feeling in her chest.
Then she could feel her cheeks turn red when she realized it.

"Shit."
