The new team member

The rest of the team was fast asleep on the roof as MK suddenly swooped up in bird form with the sign and someone else, and landed on the roof.

Everyone woke up and Pigsy immediately had his attention on his sign.

"MK! What did you do to my sign!" He said.

"Hey you're back where were you?" Asked Mei.

"I suggested we should have a search party but it was just to early!" Yawned Tang. "I knew you'd be okay though."

"No you didn't! You said 'he's a goner for sure!" Groaned Pigsy.

"I said no such thing!"

"MK are you okay?" Asked Sandy.

"Uh yeah, I'm...good." Said MK, remembering his recent run in with LBD.

"Who's the chick with ya?" Asked Jiang, looking at the other person with MK.

She was a girl around 19 or 18, with chestnut brown hair that had streaks of pale cyan in it. She wore clothes in the shades of cyans and purples and blues. And she had brilliant sky blue eyes, and pale skin.

"Uhm, well, guys this is Ami! I was just training with her! And uhm, can we maybe go do some more training? I kinda just really wanna be ready for the next bad guy..." MK said.

"Sure kid! Just maybe not at 3:00 am, or in the city." Said Pigsy.

"Yeah, yeah, that sounds good!"

"GASP! MK!" Cried Mei.

"What?!? What?!? What's wrong?!?" He panicked looking around.

"Your hand! It's not a puppy anymoreeeee!" Whined Mei.

They all laughed and when the laughter died out they could still hear someone's almost monotone laugh going.

"Hahahahaha- oh are we done laughing?" Asked Ami.

"Oh yeah, uhm, Mei, do you have room in your house for one more because...Ami needs somewhere to stay..." said MK.

"Sorry MK but I don't think I'll be able to explain another girl having to live in my house to my parents, also I hardly know this girl!" Said Mei, "I sorta knew Jiang, so I was a little more trusting."

"Oh she can stay with me!" Said Sandy.

"Really?" Asked MK, sounding relieved.

"Sure as long as she can help with stuff on the boat like painting, running boat maintenance, and cleaning!" Said Sandy.

"Yo, Ami, can you help with that?" Asked MK.

"I've never painted before but I can help run boat maintenance! If I know the model of the boat and the type of system and processing it uses I can reroute a system to conserve energy to the main frame!" Said Ami.

They all stared at her like she spoke in another language.

"Alright I'm sold! Let's go get you settled!" Said Sandy, showing the brunette down the stairs.

"I've never actually been on a boat before but I read all about them in the cloud!" She said as her voice grew fainter down the stairs.

MK was starting to follow them but Jiang then grabbed him by the collar of his jacket.

"Hold it right there, you're gonna explain what's up with Miss Ami there." She hissed, dragging him back over.

"What do you mean?" Asked MK.

"Okay first of all, no one has eyes that freaking blue, it's horrifying, second, you didn't say why she needs a place to stay and third, she said she was in the cloud and no one knows that much about a boat that they've never been on." Said Jiang, Mei also facing MK, wanting an explanation.
