"If people see that you're acting like this they'll think you're an air head by first look." He said softly to her

She rose an eyebrow at him. "Are people really that dumb around here?"

He didn't give her an answer he just placed his hands over hers tightly as he narrowed his eyes at her. "As I've said before, stay as far as possible from me. I don't want to see you hurt nor do I believe that being around me will be any use to you."

She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment before she looked to him again with a sympathetic look in her eyes. "Subaru, I can tell from the look in your eyes that you have had a really rough child hood growing up. But just because your child hood hasn't been all that well doesn't mean that everything you've been told as a child is right. I may not know you as well as your brother's do, but...if something is troubling you...You can always talk to me. To me you look to be a person who has been through a lot of bad things in your childhood which made you become distant and cold."

"You don't know me, so don't even try to do so. I don't need you or anyone else. Do you understand me? I don't want your stupid sympathy or compassion. Just keep the hell away from me and don't do anything to get yourself killed by one of the others." Subaru said as he began to slowly crush her hands under his by his strength

She refused to show that it hurt her and just sighed. "Fine, then you better keep away too or you'll just be a hypocrite."

He moved away from her and left the room. After he was gone she rubbed both of her hands before she saw Ayato come into the room. "There you are girly, I was wondering where you went off too."

"Why are you in the first class wing for?" She asked confused

"To find you of course girly. Now you're coming with me before classes start."

He took her by the wrist hard and dragged her to a room where he had forced her to make his favorite dish teriyaki. After she was done he tested one and gave her a grin.

"Not bad girly."

"Really? This is the first time I've ever cooked before."

"Yeah, go ahead and try one yourself."

She did and she was surprised on how good it tasted. "Wow...You're right."

"Told you." He said before he took two more eating them as he spoke.

As he did she did the dishes without a word with her sleeves up, even though she hadn't known how to cook, cleaning was second nature to her. She kept her glasses up as she washed the dishes only to be startled slightly when she saw Ayato's hands on her wrists.

"Get the hell off of my wrists you perv." She said coldly

"Not a chance girly." He said with a grin

She elbowed him before she turned the water off and moved away from him. "Why can't you just stay the hell away from me?! Do you have any idea how much it makes no sense that you all out number me?!"

"Why won't you just shut up for a day? You know better than anyone that you're just a little play toy nothing more. So stop trying to resist what is inevitable." Ayato said before he pinned her down by the window and started to drink from her again.

She tried to push him off of her but he was stronger than her and over power her in many ways. After he finished with the first bite he looked her straight in the eyes. He spoke to her about how her blood was the best he had ever tasted before and how she was his type of girl...Which placed shivers down her back as he went back to biting her neck forcing himself closer to her. He made it so she was right by the window until Reiji showed up. At that point in time due to the blood lost Rose was knocked out. Reiji spoke to Ayato about taking care of her since he was the one who made her pass out.

Before Ayato could argue about it Reiji left, so Ayato took the two of them home and set her on a couch outside by a pool. He was going to show rose how to be obedient just as he was taunt. He saw that the bow tie that she had around her was too tight around her so he took it off of her as he watched her until she woke up. Her fear instantly kicked in and she moved away from him only for him to pick her up.

"You really don't learn do you?" He asked as he held her.

"Ayato please don't do this! I-I can't swim."

"Then learn." He said as he dropped her in the water.

She tried to keep her head leveled but she couldn't. Nothing that Ayato said she could hear, but she knew that he was trying to tell her something. She gave up after a while due to her arms being sore and she slowly started to fall to the bottom of the pool. As she did she slowly closed her eyes.

So this is what I get for standing my ground?...I guess I deserved this. Rose thought as she let herself drift off.

Ayato knew she was telling the truth about her not being able to swim, and when she didn't come back up to the surface it worried him. He didn't mean to try to kill her, he just wanted to show her who was in charge. He cursed under his breath before he went into the pool to get her only to see her lifeless, he grabbed her arm and pulled her into him as he kissed her making it so she would be able to breathe through him. Once her eyes opened Ayato only looked at her for a few seconds before moving all clothing from her shoulder and biting her shoulder, then her neck drinking her blood from both spots that he bit.

He then took her out of the water which made her cough up what amount of water was inside her lungs. She could hear him speak, but what he said she couldn't comprehend over the burning feeling in her throat.

"A-Ayato...Please...it hurts." She said shakily as she held on to him tightly.

"You're completely hopeless girly. I guess that'll be all for today." He said as he took her out of the pool setting her down before placing a towel over her head.
