As she walked around the halls she saw that Reiji was walking up to her.

"There you are, its dinner time."

She nodded her head. "Alright."

She walked beside him and wondered why he was so serious all the time, if he and Shu were blood brother's why didn't they act so brotherly towards one another? Once they reached the table she was seated down across from Shu and next to Ayato. She saw that none of them spoke to one another as they ate. So she didn't either but still ate her own dinner with her napkin on her lap. She tried not to look at the others, but it was hard not to with what Laito had told her beforehand. She didn't understand why anyone would do such horrible things to their own children.

As they all finished up she saw that Shu got up not saying much before Reiji called him a 'dead beat' and explained to her that he was a spoiled brat when he was growing up. Which made her curious about why they were treated differently if they were brothers. Reiji then dismissed the rest of them and he stopped Rose from getting up.

"I want to thank you for at least having some manners, you aren't as bad as some of the other girls who've come in contact with us." Reiji said as he got up

"W-Was that supposed to be a compliment Reiji?" She asked curiously

"Don't let it get to your head." He said before he left

She then went to walk around only to see Kanto again. "Please play with me." He said sadly

"Why should I? The last time I tried you almost bit me."

He frowned and he stepped closer to her. "I didn't mean to, really. I just get really lonely without someone to be around."

Rose stared into his eyes for a short while before she remembered what Laito had told her about the female who was their mother. They all had been neglected as children, so they didn't know how to act properly. She sighed and she placed her hands together.

"Alright, but keep your fangs to yourself."

He smiled and nodded his head. "Of course."

He took her back to the room they were in before and he had a small tea party with her and teddy before she looked to him some-what curiously.

"Hey...Kanato...Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" She asked as she held on to her skirt nervously

He looked to her curiously. "Uh...sure? What did you want to ask me?"

"What type of relationship did you have with your mother?"

He was silent for a bit before she saw that he had his bear back in his arms as he placed his face at the back of Teddy's head. "I was her 'singing bird'. She really didn't care much for me, nor did she want anything much to do with me. Only when she wanted to hear my singing would she want me around her."

She frowned at what she heard from Kanato. "That's just mean."

"It's how I grew up until she died." He said softly "I killed her after all."

Rose said nothing after that. "Kanato, I know that I might just be a walking blood bank to all of you, but if you ever get lonely you can always talk to me. I wouldn't mind it."

He looked up from his tea cup and at her before he smiled a little at her. "Heh, I'll keep that in mind. Did you enjoy yourself Rose?"

She nodded her head. "Of course, I want to thank you for keeping true to your promise this time around."

She got up and she went over to him before she hugged him just as she did to Laito earlier that night. Kanato stiffened slightly, he hadn't once ever been touched by someone in such a manner...not even by his own mother. He didn't understand why he felt the way he did when she hugged him, it felt nice and he didn't wish for it to stop either. So he placed his bear on the table as he pulled her on top of him and hugged her tightly.

She was slightly shocked at his quick notion but got over it as she felt him hug her back. She tightened the hug she had with him before she rubbed his back slightly. "You know...I really am starting to dislike the person who gave birth to you and your brothers. None of you should have to be so sadistic just because you had been lacking in the loving department."

"It's how it was Rose...Even though Ayato hated her and Laito was constantly used by her...I just wanted her to notice me like she did them." He said sadly as he held on to her sides tighter

She winced at the slight pain before she looked up at him. "You shouldn't have to be so neglected Kanato...You seem like such a sweet person." She said as she placed her hands on his cheeks as she saw that he was softly crying.

He closed his eyes and enjoyed the fact he was being noticed by someone...finally.

"You aren't going to do the same are you?" He asked sadly

"Goodness no, I'll be your friend and you can come to me whenever you want if you ever want to hang out with me alright?" She said with a sad smile

He removed her hands from his face before he buried his face in his neck. "T-Thank you."

"You are more than welcome Kanato." She said as he let her go

She then went to bed and woke up like usual to go to school with the guys, she sat between Laito and Kanato that day since she seemed more connected to the two boys. She was able to go through her classes without problem, even though she worried that Subaru kept on cutting classes. But he didn't seem to want anything to do with her so she pushed it aside and she finished packing up her things before she went down the steps. She had the feeling she was forgetting something so she used the table to make sure she had everything as she was she felt like she was being watched.

She looked over to see that it was Kanato and she gave him a small smile. "Hello Kanato, were you waiting for me?" She asked curiously

"Yes, why else would I be here for?" He said as he held his bear tighter. "I'm thirsty Rose and so is teddy."

She wasn't dumb she knew what he wanted and sighed. "You really go crazy on full moons don't you Kanato?"

He didn't say anything to her, he just looked at her sadly. She sighed again and she shook her head.

"I'm sorry Kanato, I can't help you tonight, maybe tomorrow alright?" She said as she went past him with her bag in hand.

He held her wrist tightly as she went past him, his grip tightened and he pulled her into him. "I can't wait until tomorrow Rose. I know that you don't want to be bitten but....What else am I supposed to do?"
