It was the next morning by now, and all of us except my two best friends were in the lobby. I over heard from Roxie that Simon Masrani was heading to the island today.
He didn't come over here often, he usually did his job for the park from the safety of the mainland, but he told me he had started helicopter flight training recently so he most likely wanted too test it out his skills on the actual island. We were good friends considering the age gap, he had a gen-z mindset.
He'd even got a call sign on the helicopter tail so you can identify it, he was serious about this pilot thing, I was a hardcore supporter, everyone else was more nervous than I was. Dad still won't let me get up in the helicopter with him in control yet though.
I went from staring at the ceiling to looking at the door when hearing a helicopter go over head, I bet that is our park owner himself.
I was laying down on the wall that was meant to cut us off from the skeleton but I managed to climb up there, the rest of the campers were scattered around the room, most of us just bored with having nothing to do. My phone was by my bunk I'm assuming, I'm not sure considering I gave it too Brooklyn last night and now I can't be bothered to go back across the bridge and grab it.
After me, Yaz and Sammy came down this morning, us all leaving Brooklyn to rest and not waking her up.
we also found a note clearly left by Dave luckily Roxie translated his unknown language. They had too go speak to Claire Dearing, which all I can say too that is good luck.
Our next event of the morning is Darius. he had just came in cheering, excited about the task of the day which is now old news, unbeknownst to him that is. "Not in a "whoo-hoo" mood this morning, Darius" Kenji says. "Not after yesterday. Trekking through a rainstorm will do that"
"You guys only had to walk because you both crashed the gyrosphere, and I had to walk too Kenj!" I add, he looks at me annoyed and I stick my tongue out at him in return.
Both Kenji and Darius turn around and he continues his enthusiasm for the day's activities that would probably never come, "but today's a new day! Kayak Day!" "No offence Dar I do not want too spend my day in a soaking wet kayak around a bunch of gross little kids" I add not looking away from the ceiling. "But who doesn't wanna paddle alongside dinosaurs, real dinosaurs?" He continues.
"It's gonna be awesome, right?"
"Wait, where are Dave and Roxie?" He asks. "They took off early and left that" Kenji rolls over in his chair to Darius to hand him the note, Darius reads from the note the adults had left us, "BRB. Gotta go. Boss-talk. BB. Later. Smiley face"
