Nineteenth Expectation

JAIRA'S P.O.V:

Back. Yeah. And my friends are like, "Putangina mo, Jaira! Wag nang ganun ulit ah?" I feel sore all over. It's been days na nandito ako sa ospital, walang magawa. And Xeb? Ayun, di magkanda-ugaga sa ginagawa nya. Di na nga kami nakaattend sa graduation namin e. After 4 years in hell, di man lang ako nakaakyat ng stage. And si Althea? Di naman alam pero sabi ni Harley namin, pag nakita daw nya si Althea, dadalhin nya daw sya sa ICU. Lol.

"Thea's gonna pay for this." Sabi ni Rhian. Wala na ba silang alam sabihin kundi yan? Trending na yan. "Where's Torres?" I asked. Lahat naman sila nagshrug. Ano na naman kayang balak nung babaeng un?

Sabi ng doctor, makakalabas na ako ngayon kaya inayos ni Xeb ung bills ko. OMG. No need to be mad at him, okay? Alam ko naman lahat about him. Even ung kay Althea. What is there to hide? I love him, he loves me.

ALTHEA'S P.O.V:

I will never forgive you, Harley Allaika. You left me when we were kids, we used to be best friends. But what have you done to my sister? You killed her! You fucking lead her to her death! Sinimulan mo, tatapusin ko.

"You now what? You should stop this, Althea." Lumingon ako and I saw Levi. So, he's really alive? "Excuse me? Baka nakakalimutan mong ako ang biktima dito!" Sigaw ko pabalik sa kanya. "Naaksidente si Laika before. At hanggang ngayon, di pa rin nya naaalala ung nangyare noon." He reasoned. Wow. "So niloloko mo pala sya? Making new memories. Eh ikaw naman ang may dahilan kung bakit siya naaksidente dati diba?" Natahimik sya.

"Thei, Daddy said we can't play outside." Lai told me. I wanted to go inside but Levi's pulling me along. "Levi, stop! Ayokong ilaro ung mga games mo!" I shouted. "Come on, girls! Ang hihina nyo naman e." Levi said. Alam ni Levi sa sarili nya na bawal kaming maglaro outside. Our families are receiving a lot of threats per day. We aren't trained well yet. "We're not weak, Levi. It's just that we know how to follow rules."  Lai said. "Whatever, Laika. Tara na."  He lets my hand go to hold Lai's. Siya naman ang hinila nito.

No guards. "Hi there, kiddos." a man greeted us. Levi stopped and  waved the man off then continued walking and pulling us. The man pushed me kaya domino effect ang bagsak namin. "No one dares to turn their backs on me when I'm talking." the man said. We gaoed in horror as he pulled a gun and pointed it to Lai. "Harley Allaika Torres, what a beautiful child."  Poker face lang si Lai. "You. What a weakling." Lai said then smirked. Nagkatinginan kami ni Levi sa isa't-isa. Mukhang kilala ni Lai to. "Your dad killed my son." Sino ba tong lalaking to? "Not my dad's fault tho. Your brother's. Isa ka sa pinagkakatiwalaan ni daddy." Lai said, in poker face still. "You, liar!" Sigaw nito saka hinampas kay Lai ung hawakan ng baril. Napatili ako at si Levi napasinghap.

As if on cue, lumabas si Tito Martin and Tita Lyanna kasama ang mga guards nila. And the guy? Took Lai as his hostage. "Martin, do something!" Sigaw ni Tita. Agad kaming kinuha ng mga guards upang ilayo. I saw how limp Lai is. "Stop this, George!" Tito Martin ordered. He's using the scary voice. "Ano kaya kung patayin ko ang anak mo, Martin? Isn't this little girl your heiress?" That's true. Lai is the heiress of Topec Mafia at Topec Industries. "Don't you dare do anything to her." Tita Lyanna said. "Whatever, slut! Kakalimutan mo kaming kapatid mo dahil sa asawa mo?! Without us, you're nothing!"sigaw nito kay Tita. "And also, without her, you're nothing." Lai said almost a whisper.

At the age of 9, marunong na syang pumatay. She's beautiful, young, cold, and terrible. Mas matanda kami ni Levi ng isang taon sa kanya pero mas nauna pa syang nakapatay saming tatlo. Napasigaw ung lalaki nang kagatin ni Lai ung forearm nya at saka tumakbo.

A shout escape my and Levi's lips. Lai is halfway papalapit kila Tito when George pulled the trigger. Lai tripped because of the impact and hit her head hard. "Kill him." With Tito's order, halos sampung guards ang pumalibot dito at saka ito pinagbababaril.

Nang pakawalan kami ng guards, lumapit kami kay Tita Lyanna na aka-akap si Lai habang si Tito ay pinakuha ang sasakyan. Since that day, we haven't heard anything about Lai.

"Then Harley Allaika Torres appeared after 6 years." I said. Levi's knuckles are white as a sheet of paper. "So, tell be, I feel so betrayed. I'm mad at you and at her! Because of you, these wouldn't happen! Because of her, my sister died!" I shouted. "Stop this, Thei!" With that he left.

No, Levi. I won't. Harley needs to suffer.
