Twenty-sixth Expectation

ALLAIKA'S P.O.V:

Pain. Too much pain. What the hell? Where the hell am I? OMG. Kinuha na aba ako ni Lord? "Harley baby." Hinanap ko kung saan nanggagaling ang pamilyar na boses na yon. "Sinong nandyan?" I asked. "Baby." The voice said. "Mommy?" I asked. Parang kurtinang nahawi ang usok. It revealed my parents. "Mommy! Daddy!" I ran to them and hugged them fiercely. Dad was the first to pull away. "We missed you dearly, baby." Di ko namalayang umiiyak na ako. "Mommy, am I dead?" She smiled at me. The smile I miss. "Not yet, baby." It hit me. "Then you're here to take me with you?" Dad let out a chuckle. "Not yet, baby." Then what? Anong meron? Di pa ako patay? "Yes. Marami ka bang dapat balikan, baby." Mommy said as if reading my thoughts. "Then what am I doing here?" I asked. "You're just lost, baby. And we're here to help you find your way." My dad said. "Just remember, we're always with you. We love you." With that they vanished, everything vanished.

I was in ICU staring right back at my limp body. Keith holding my hand. I tried to touch him but I ghosted through. "Baby, please. Wake up. You've been sleeping for years. I need you. We need you. Don't leave e like this12." He said. He's broken. "I'll come back later, baby. I promise. I love you." And as if my body doesn't want him to leave, nagflatline ang heartbeat monitor ko. Agad pumasok ang doktor at mga nurse. They'll try to revive me. Tanging tunog ng makina nalang ang narinig ko. No. Ayoko. I felt everything spin fast.

KEITH'S P.O.V:

It's been 3 years, 3 long years. And di pa rin sya gumigising. "Baby, please. Wake up. You've been sleeping for years. I need you. We need you. Don't leave me like this." I said. I kissed her forehead. "I'll come back later, baby. I promise. I love you." I was about to leave when I heard that familiar beep. Dread filled my body. Doctor and nurses rushed inside and tried to revive her. "Time of death: 8:38 pm." Di maregister ng utak ko ang sinabi ng doktor. "No! Try again!" Kwinelyohan ko sya. "Sir, please. Let her be in peace." He said and I pushed him. There's no way I'll let her! I felt arms around me. Xeb and Marcus stopping me and getting me outside while Axel talks to the doctor.

"ANO BA?!" Agad nila akong binitawan nang makalabas kami. "Bro, that's too much! 3 years is too much! Hayaan na natin sya." Sabi ni Xeb. "Paano kung si Jaira ung nakahiga sa kamang yon? Too much?" I said. "Paano kung si Jaira? Edi I'll let her go. Oo, masasaktan ako pero mas masasaktan ako na makita na nahihirapan sya." He said and I froze. Nang biglang lumabas si Axel tugging his lips at saka ang doctor na tila namumutla. "We'll transfer her." The doctor said and left. "Hinahanap ka nya." Sabi sakin ni Axel. Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo nila Marcus bago ako pumasok.

"Ang tagal mo." Tampong sabi nito saken. I froze on the spot. A nurse checking her vital signs. "Do you not miss me anymore?" Her face fall and the nurse left us. "Baby." I sobbed and closed our distance. "You had me worried." She hugged me back. "I won't. I came back." She asnwered. Her voice still hoarse. "Anong nararamdaman mo ngayon? Jesus! You've been sleeping for 3 years." I said. "I wanna go home." She said. Sakto namang pumasok ang doctor. "Ms. Torres, we'll transfer you now." He said and my girl sighed. "But I wanna go home!" I smiled at her childishness. "You can. Probably tomorrow." She sighed defeated.

Few moments after she was transferred, Ix Cuat and other Dark Angels and, well, Mighty Phoenix with Althea and Emma came. She immediately hugs Althea and Levi. "I miss you, Levi and Thee." She cried for the first time after she woke up. Bigla syang binatukan ni Althea. "Aba! Anong tingin mo sa ospital? Buti gumising ka na kung hindi, yuyugyugin kitang babae ka!" Sabi nya. Lahat kami natawa. We're already at ease with her. "Sorry na, Thee. Di na mauulit." Sabi naman ni Allaika. "ABA'T MAY BALAK KA PA BANG ULITIN? MAGPAHINGA KA NA AT MAY SPARRING PA KAYO NI JAIRA BUKAS!" Bulyaw nito sabay akap kay Allaika. "Hey! Careful!" Saway naman ni Chrystalle pero natatawa din.

"So, gising na pala ang bitchessa." A familiar voice said. Napalingon kami lahat sa gawi ni Cecily. "Who is she?" Takang tanong ni Allaika. "Well, bitch. I'm Lee's fiancée." Sabi nya. "Shut up, Cecily! We all know na hindi na tuloy ang kasal natin." I said barely shouting. "Keith?" Allaika tried to get my attention. "Umalis ka na dito, bitch!" Sigaw naman ni Emma. "Bat ako aalis dito? Aalis ako kung kasama kong aalis si Lee." She said. I was about to answer her when I heard Allaika laugh. "Seriously, bimbo? You're really stooping low, are you not? Mismong fiancé mo na nagpapaalis sayo, oh." She said to Cecily and smirked. "Keith, seriously? Masisikmura mo na maikasal sa kanya?" She asked me. I smirked. "Why would I settle for less if I already had the best?" I said. She leaned in to my arms. "'Why would I settle for less if I already had the best?' You hear that, what's your name again? Bitch? Slut? Or whore?" Sabi naman ni Althea sa kanya. Cecily was about to attack Althea but Jaira caught her first. "I told you, little girl, and I'll repeat it again hoping this time you get it, we came from the underground society and that girl's name is Althea, you know what will happen to you if you hurt her?" She said deadly calm. She pointed Allaika. "You see that girl on the bed? She'll make your pathetic life a living hell. Di mo kilala kung sino ang binabangga mo. Kahit nakaratay yan dyan sa kamang yan, kaya ka nyang balian ng buto sa oras na itulak kita sa kanya." She added. "Sa tingin mo takot ako?" Mataray na sabi ni Cecily. I snorted at her remark. "Give me that bitch, Jaira. Let's see." Surprisingly, she can stand on her own. Unti unting lumapit si Allaika sa kanya. "Woah! Mukhang nanginginig ka, bata! Wala pang ginagawa sayo." Rhian said. Allaika grabbed the collar of her dress. "I told you, Bimbo. Watch your mouth."

One thing's clear. I think I know what exactly is going to happen when she looked at me. "What's the family name of this bimbo?" She asked me. "Ki." I said. "Ki Enterprises. Axel, come here. Diba may shares ang Toppec Industries dun?" Nanlaki ang mata ni Cecily. T.I. is one of the leading companies in the world next to ours. "Kindly tell, Uncle, I want Ki Enterprises bankrupt. We're going to pull out our shares." She said and Axel dialed something in his phone and brought it to his ears. Cecily's eyes widened and she knelt. "Please. No. You can't!" She said to Allaika. "Oh, dear, of course I can." She said and came back to her bed and into my arms. "Damn, baby. Nagtataka ako kung bakit sa kanya ako ipapakasal ni mommy kesa sayo." I whispered to her and she laughed. "She doesn't need a daughter-in-law to defy her." She said while looking at Cecily passively.

"Now, outta this room. The girl needs a sleep and her meds." A nurse said jokingly. "I'll be back tomorrow." I promised her and she nodded. I kissed her forehead and we left. Emma and Althea grab Cecily and shove her out of the room. "I told you. Tinuloy mo pa. Goodbye, bubuwit!" Sabi ni Jaira. "Lee, tell her to stop it!" I shook my head and pushed her. Nakakainis na sya.
