You come down last, to the dining table after your long hot shower. Everyone in the table waiting for you, snaps their head to your side as the sound of your feet tapping against the wooden floor hits their ears. Seoshin throws a mischievous grin at you.
"What took you sooo looooong Seoyoon-ah?"
"Sorry for the wait everyone."
"That's alright Seoyoon-ah. Let's begin now."
"Yeah Appa."
You take your seat next to Seoshin's dad and start eating. You break the silence that's prevailing in the table.
"So, how did the deal go? Any complications?"
You notice the death glares from your brothers to you and the laugh that Seoshin is muffling.
What now?
You get snapped out when Seoshin's mom talks up.
"Yeah, it went smoothly. We got the deal. But the part which Hobi and Tae proofread had flaws which had to be corrected at the last minute. Be careful boys, Seoyoon's and Seoshin's parts were crystal clear."
Ohh.... The glare.... The laugh.... Was it all because of that?
Seoshin knew?
She never said.... I could've corrected......
You mouthed a 'sorry' at their side and noticed them nodding at you. You dropped your plate in the white marble sink and headed straight to your room.
You gently shut the door and walk straight to your bed and plop down. You stare at the door as your thoughts start to flow.
Now I feel bad.... I should've not brought that topic....
At least not there...
Why am I always like this?
Too nosy and-
Your train of thoughts were cut down by the sound of the door, slamming open. Your own voice sounds like a sad whisper.
"Hey, I'm so-"
"I won. I know her, right?"
You pout at Seoshin's statement and keep staring at them. Taehyung reaches your side and pinches your cotton soft cheeks.
"Cute! Don't be sorry and don't overthink. It was not your mistake. We didn't inform you. To see, it's actually ours."
"No! But I should've kept my mouth shut."
Hoseok walks to your bed and plops himself beside you. You turn to face him as the other two sit at the bed. The pout set on your face brings a smile on everybody's face.
"I'm always like this Oppa. I crossed my boun-"
You are cut midway when he puts his long pointer finger on your lips.
"You're not always like this. You never crossed your boundaries too. First, you don't have any boundaries set. Even if you cross, who cares? You're our sister. First, will you erase that thought from your mind? You're my sister Yoonie, just like Shinnie. I've never thought of you in any different way."
"Now that's some thousandth time, Hyung's saying that to you. When are you going to get it?"
"I'm sorry."
"Again."
"Keep your 'Sorry Lectures' with you. I'm bored of this shit."
She.... I don't know....
Seoshin smiles at you and opens her mouth to say something only to get interrupted by the ringing sound of your phone. You look at the Caller ID and frown in confusion.
"Mrs. Lee?"
"Pick it. It must be important."
"Hmm..."
You swipe the green button and put the call on the speaker. You could clearly say that everyone in the room is genuinely confused as you.
"Hello, Seoyoon?"
"Yes, Mrs. Lee..."
"Seoyoon, are you in between something? Did I disturb you?"
"No ma'am. Go ahead."
"Ah, thank you. I actually need some help."
"Yes ma'am."
"Can um.... Can you come a little earlier on the day of reopening? I mean on Monday?"
You lift up your head, totally confused by what she's saying. The call goes on silent for a minute before Seoshin mouths a 'say okay'. You nod in response and speak up.
"Yeah, okay ma'am. I can come."
"Yeah?! Thank God! Thank you Seoyoon! Thank you so much!"
You giggle at her cute voice of happiness because of your response.
"Umm ma'am.... May I um.... know why I've to come earlier?"
"Aah.... I forgot. We've one transfer student from Seoul University. I've been assigned to work on his papers. Figured that you could help me. So called you up."
A student from Seoul University... who would it be....
Why am I even thinking about him in the first place......
"Ah! Okay mam."
"Fine, be there by 7AM."
"Okay ma'am."
"Bye Seoyoon."
"Bye ma'am. Have a good day!"
A pout finds its way to your face which earns a little giggle from others.
Now I don't get to go with them.....
