"We'll figure it out, Seoyoon. If not on the first day we'll go together on the second day. Hmm?"
You nod to Seoshin and give a sad smile. She pinches your soft cheeks and starts to stare back at her phone again. You all turn around to the soft knock on the door.
"Can I come in?"
"Yes Appa."
The door opens to reveal Seoshin's dad who stands there leaning on the door frame with a set of files in his hands.
"I want you guys to proofread these files. Are you guys free?"
You see the terror taking over Taehyung's and Hoseok's form. You muffle your laugh and pat their back in an assuring manner.
"Yeah Appa. We'll get there in 2 minutes."
"Mmm okay."
As soon as the door closes, Taehyung shifts uncomfortably in his place. You grab your glasses and see Taehyung sending signals to Hoseok with his eyes.
Aww... they're scared of making mistakes....
Hoseok signals Taehyung to say that by himself. You and Seoshin stand there in silence watching the cute drama.
"Hey, Seoyoon?"
"Hmm, yes Tae?"
"W-we're n-not c-coming."
"Why are you stuttering?"
"W-well, I don't know about Hyung. But... I'm scared. Scared that I'll make mistakes again."
"Me too..."
You plop between them in the bed and throw your arms over their shoulders to pull them closer to you.
"What's wrong with making mistakes? Hmm? We're humans and it's completely alright to make mistakes. This time I'll recheck your files."
"But Appa-"
"Appa won't say anything, Hoba Oppa. He's... just concerned because we're going to take the business soon. Our parents want us to be perfect."
You smile reassuringly at them and they nod and give a cute grin. You stand up from the bed and hold out your hand to reach Seoshin's hand.
"We're heading first."
"Yeah, you both collect your lazy asses off the bed, collect your stuff and head there soon."
"Yeah yeah..."
Taehyung rolls his eyes at Seoshin and she shrugs while dragging you out of the room, slamming the door closed.
"Why do you always tease him, Shinnie?"
"Do you have an answer if I ask you the same?"
"Mmmm?.... Fun?"
"Same goes here."
You both chuckle and knock on the door of the study.
"Come in."
You see Seoshin's dad sitting there at his table with his glasses on.
How can someone look so professional even in their pjs... huh...
You snap out when Seoshin whispers near your ear.
"Appa looks handsome. Right?"
"Yah! I wasn't looking in that way.... He looks so professional...."
"What are you girls seriously discussing about? Hmm?"
You playfully push Seoshin away as she stumbles in the doorway with a soft laugh. You walk further into the study and take your seat. Seoshin plops down right beside you. Seoshin's dad lifts his head up and searches for the missing boys.
Appa is searching for Hoba Oppa and Tae....
"Where are they?"
"Appa they're co-"
"Appa they're afraid."
"Afraid of what?"
"You."
He looks up at both of you with clear confusion written on his face.
She has no common sense....
As if she has never done a cover up...
"Me?"
"Yeah... they're afraid that you'll scold them for making mistakes..."
"Aigoo! It's nothing like what they think. I'm here to correct them, not to scold them. I... I just want them to be perfect. They could've-"
The door flies open revealing the two younger males who are standing with a bright smile plastered on their face. Seoshin's dad looks up at them and folds his arms over his chest.
"You both are afraid of me right?"
"Appa-"
"I didn't mean to scold you guys. I... just want you guys to be perfect as you guys are-"
You stop him in the middle and walk to the two younger males' side as they stand there with a pure look of guilt written on their faces.
"Appa, I explained everything to them and they understood everything. They'll do it. Now Shin, think before you speak. You know that I've already resolved it and why did you bring it up here?"
"Hey, I didn't-"
"Appa, our files. We'll start working."
You walk to his table and grab the files which are lying on the table. You hand one file to each and sit beside Seoshin. You can feel the glare that she's throwing your way.
I don't care....
Well........
That was little........
Rude......
