c h a p t e r 9

(Seoyoon's POV)

After a long tiring day of shopping you heave a sigh and plop down on the grey sectional sofa. Taehyung and Micha drop on either side of you, throwing themselves partially on you.

"Yah! You both better get off of me before I shove you guys!"

"I'm tired Yoonie...."

"So, I am looking fresh? Ugh! Get off!"

You push them and jump out of the comfortable sofa. You climb the stairs and lazily drag yourself to your room. Pushing open the door of the shared bedroom, you chuckle seeing Seoshin sprawled out in the bed and a pillow resting on her face.

"Shinnie, move aside."

She quickly sits up and pulls you down to sit on her side, startling you a bit. Taking your hands in hers, you chuckle as she buries her face and whines cutely.

"Yoonie, I'm nervous."

"About?"

"Tomorrow. I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't do it tomorrow? What if he's not gonna accept? Or what if it's only me? Or-"

"Enough. Are you crazy? Even if you're doing it on some other day his answer will be the same and what is the problem of only you being interested?"

"Won't it be weird?"

You roll your eyes and shift a bit to sit comfortably cross legged. You hold her hands tight and pass a smile to her.

"Jin and Moon won't be together if it was weird. Now tell me, do you like him or you love him?"

"I love him, Seoyoon. And that's my fear. We've never dated and yet I've fallen for him. Jin liked Moon and they went on dates before coming out as official. That's a different case. I've never been into any serious relationships and it's scaring me...."

She looks at you with the glassy eyes and pouts. You ruffle her hair and pat on her shoulder.

Oh my god.....at this rate I'll spill the beans....

"Look, only if you ask you'll know. You guys can still date and take it slow. Ya know, all the relationships needn't be in the same way. Just do it tomorrow Seoshin."

"But I'm -"

"Shut up and sleep if you want dinner. I'm too drained to cook without resting."

You pull the duvet over your body and stretch yourself once before you lie down. Few minutes after you've settled the bed beside you dips and Seoshin throws her hands over your shoulder.

Don't worry Shinnie.... I know Kookie's answer.....

"Shin, you can sleep. I've to wrap the gifts."

"Mhmm....but don't stay up late night...."

"Yeah yeah, it's only 11:20, I'll come early."

You roll your eyes and sit cross legged on the floor with all the needed materials in front of you. You watch her chuckle lightly, pulling the duvet over her body.

You take out the frames and wrap in the bubble wraps for the first layer. For the second, you seal them inside a paper bag and do the same with the second frame. You pull out a glittery sheet of grass green wrapper and start covering them. For the final touch you tie them a saturn bow and put the frames in separate bags.

This isn't much....hope they'll like it.......

I'll give this tonight.....this isn't much of a nice gift...
