"Okay, I'll get going now. See you later, Mom," Yokozawa said before leaving home. It had been three days since he'd told his parents everything, and he felt relieved that they still loved him despite his being gay. Though Yokozawa always wore a grumpy expression, he had actually made a new friend at work. (To be exact, the friend was gay and had immediately recognized that Yokozawa was too on the first day of work.) He was initially shocked when his colleagues asked him to hang out, knowing that he often displayed a grumpy attitude even at his new job.

Ding-Dong "Hai! I'm coming, please hold on," Yokozawa's mom put down her apron, rushing to the door. "Sorry for the wait, may I know who you're looking for?" Looking around, she didn't see the person he was looking for. He opened his mouth and said, "Sorry for the intrusion, is Takafumi around?" It was none other than Kirishima standing there. He had traveled to Yokozawa's parents' house after getting the address from Takano. "Oh, Takafumi just went out. Who are you?" Yokozawa's mom replied. "Apologies for not introducing myself, my name is Kirishima Zen, Takafumi's colleague," Kirishima smiled and greeted Yokozawa's mom. 'Kirishima? Hmm, he sounds familiar,' Yokozawa's mom thought to herself. She remembered just hearing his name before from Takafumi. Not letting the guest stand at the door for too long, she invited Kirishima into the house to wait for Takafumi to come back.

"I'm home! Mom, what are you cooking for dinner? It smells so nice," Yokozawa asked, sitting down while untying his shoelace. "Takafumi...." Yokozawa paused. He knew this voice; how could he even forget? He used to hear it daily, and it was also the last voice he heard before moving back to his hometown. Not daring to turn his back, even though he had been doing better in the past few months, he was still not prepared to face him now. Yokozawa stood up slowly, not knowing what to say. 'Shit, why is he here? How did he know this place? What should I do?' Yokozawa thought to himself, trembling as he was too scared. Just as he was about to run away, Kirishima, who was facing his back, grabbed his hand. Yokozawa was shocked by his action. "Please let go..." Tears welled up in his eyes. "No, if I let you go now, I will not be able to see you again. Please, Takafumi, stop running away from me..." He could hear the sadness in Kirishima's voice. Before Yokozawa could respond, they were interrupted by his mom. "Takafumi, is everything okay? Why are you crying, my dear boy?" Receiving no response from their son and seeing how Kirishima had acted, Yokozawa's dad could guess roughly what was going on. "Ehhh, Kirishima is it? Why don't you stay for tonight? It's late, and you two can talk after having dinner, okay? We will be going to your aunt's house later to pass her stuff. Take this chance and talk it out." Both nodded their heads and moved to the living room to have dinner.

The whole time during dinner, there was an awkward silence. Yokozawa wouldn't dare to look up. He didn't want his parents to worry about him, although they already were, but he just didn't want to cry again in front of them. Not only was it embarrassing, but he wasn't a teenager anymore; he was in his 20s, an adult who should know how to handle his emotions.

"Emmm... Kirishima, was it? We heard about you from Yokozawa. Although it's not our place to say anything about your relationship, I hope you're here today to sort things out properly with Takafumi. He's our one and only precious son, and it hurts us to see him hurt," Yokozawa's dad said to Kirishima, obviously not very happy with him, as he knew how much this guy had hurt his precious son. "Yes, I am sorry for what I have done, but I hope you can give me the chance to speak to Takafumi," Kirishima stood up to bow and ask for permission from Yokozawa's parents. Yokozawa's parents nodded their heads to show Kirishima their approval and stood up to leave to give the couple space.

Yokozawa was still sitting down on the chair, not sure what to say or do. He didn't expect Kirishima to be here, and why did he even have his address? Many thoughts were going through his head that he did not notice his parents had left, leaving Kirishima all alone with him. "Takafumi..." A hand was placed on Yokozawa's cheek. Kirishima leaned forward to Yokozawa's face, wanting to take a good look at him. Yokozawa was shocked but felt warmth at the same time. This big hand had always touched him gently. But he knew he couldn't accept or let his guard down. It was all for Hiyori and Kirishima's sake. Thus, he pushed back Kirishima slowly, leaving some space. Finally gathering all the courage, Yokozawa spoke up. "I'm not sure why you're here and how you got my address, but please leave tomorrow morning. I have nothing to say to you." Although he didn't mean it because he really wanted to talk to Kirishima, ask him how Hiyori was and if he was happy right now with Sakura. "Takafumi, can you please look at me? You haven't looked at me once since I'm here... Please?" Kirishima said, but with a sad voice. But Yokozawa still did not dare to look up and sat there silently. Kirishima sighed as he was hurt to see Yokozawa like this, but he knew it exactly that he was the reason why he had turned out like this. "I'm sorry for leaving that day... it hurt me when you said you didn't need me. Although thinking back, this is always how you had been, not being able to speak truthfully and lying for others. You were thinking for me and Hiyo, isn't it? You wanted us to have a 'complete' family, that's why you said you didn't need me. I'm sorry, I knew it, but disappointment hit me, and I left. I'm sorry for finding you this late, and I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry, Takafumi... but I love you, and I need you." Kirishima said while trembling a bit, but he needed Yokozawa to understand that he loved him. He needed him so badly that he came all the way down here to find him. This time Yokozawa looked up at Kirishima in disbelief. "You finally looked at me," Kirishima said with a relieved smile on his face.
