Every little creak suddenly became louder than usual, and every whisper was a thousand times more irritating. Even the droplets of water echoed in her ears. The discomfort of this little angel was accompanied by a rough croak rising in her throat. Rocking herself back and forth in her chair, she tugged at her hair while flapping her hands. As she rocked herself further, sweat broke out on her forehead. Suddenly, she stiffened; her eyes widened, and she jerked vigorously in the chair until she slumped down. In her struggle with a seizure, the door flung open, and Nadine's clouded vision watched someone rushing to her. Soon, Nadine's eyes were shut as her body went limp.
