It all started with one vampire, named Serenity.
That's where you think she's a 'peaceful' character due to the meaning of that certain name. But, the Serenity in this book, is a lot more fun and seductive.
She met her first human in a local bar, where they immediately connected and went straight into their fun relationship. They did love each other endlessly, until one night, during their love session, Serenity felt different. She could sense a third heartbeat out there, somewhere.
"Baby...why did you stop?" her first mate asked her as she softly trailed her hand up Serenity's sculptured body, "Sadly, we will have to continue with this later. We have a new mate to find." she replied to her, fighting off a moan.
We then go over to our main character, Polly, who didn't know that her life was going to dramatically change at any second...
