The Christmas Wish

The Fifth year Halloween

It was the start of October meaning it was spooky season, Sirius ,James ,Peter and Remus were all meeting in the great hall to plan and prepare an entire month of chaos and commotion around Hogwarts. That morning Sirius had sent an owl to all three marauders asking them to meet in the great all to discuss their plans. Sirius had many ideas built up that day from the night before when he was up all night wrapped up in his own thoughts. James that morning had gone off early to Quidditch practice meaning that Remus and Peter had gone to watch since Remus enjoyed the early morning walks and Peter was a morning person meaning that he was happy to go out with Remus that morning. Both Peter and Remus decided to leave a sleeping Sirius to rest since they both knew that Sirius would be put in a bad mood if woken up that morning since Sirius was a night owl and the other three preferred early mornings meaning that a sleeping Sirius was a normal occurrence in the week. ( unless they wanted to prank him by waking him up early which they found out was the worst way to put Sirius in a bad mood the rest of the day.)

As Sirius was making his way to the hall at 11:30am he was met by Remus who was heading there ready since he loved to be early and prepared for anything. As Sirius was approaching a Young Remus Lupin he muttered under his voice to himself "stay cool Sirius its just your best friend he doesn't feel the same way anyway its fine" Remus noticed Sirius behind him muttering and decided to wait up for him since he was slightly ahead of hi. He greeted Sirius with a smile and proceeded to say " Hey Sirius! you ok?" since Remus had noticed Sirius looking slightly lost in his own thoughts he decided to check on him since Sirius would often daydream and get lost in his own thoughts so he decided it would be best to check. Sirius startled responded  "REMUS!!!! you startled me!" Sirius with a worried look thought to himself " I hope Remus heard none of that it would be quite embarrassing..." Remus looked at Sirius with a smirk on his face     " well you were lost in your own thoughts so I thought I would help you out of the void you know" Sirius was quite flustered by this ( he had had feelings for the boy since third year meaning that he had been waiting two years to muster up the courage to tell him but it wasn't the time now.)

Remus and Sirius headed to the Great Hall where they came across Peter and James sat at their table that they had claimed as their own in first year meaning that if anyone came to sit at their table uninvited then they would ask them if they would move down a row since it was important to them. Since Sirius and Remus had been chattering all the way down to the Great Hall they had managed to make themselves late due to them chattering so much about what they had done that morning since Sirius liked to hear about what Remus had been up to in the mornings since Sirius was never awake to experience the morning sunrise and had only ever seen the sunrise once in a blue moon due to a prank or his sleep schedule being messed up by pulling an all nighter on accident.

James and Peter both reacted the same way shouting " REMUSSSSS SIRIUSSSSS WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?????" excitedly both boys sat down and Sirius laid down the piece of paper he had been working on all night. Sirius excitedly said " Sorry were late lads me and Remus got caught up and we lost track of time, anyways this Halloween is going to be epic since I have planned a prank for every. single. day. meaning that this whole month we can cause chaos upon Hogwarts and since its the spooky season nobody can do anything about it they cant just cancel Halloween!" James, Peter and Remus' face lit up with excitement, they had never thought of this before and they loved playing pranks on everyone since the adrenaline of them now being able to become animagi gave them an advantage since Peter could just get out of the situation faster than everyone else but James would probably struggle but furthermore James was team captain of the Quidditch team meaning that he could go fast on a broom and he could also run quite fast due to him being quite athletic and Remus was good at talking his way out of situations and also good at helping out his friends when they got into trouble since Remus worked very hard because he wanted to become an amazing wizard in the future even if he was a werewolf making his chances of becoming anything he wanted was compromised but Remus always kept in the back of his mind if he's making his parents proud then that's all that matters.

When all of the marauders took a look at the list their faces lit up with joy and excitement since they could finally be as scheming as possible during a school month since it was Halloween the month of pranks and scares. As they read through the list there was a range from Blowing up Pumpkins, Sweets that could make people change colours, invisibility sweets and many more. All four of them wanted to make chaos come upon Hogwarts this year.

Sirius exclaimed " So do you all like it?" James was the first to answer with a exited "YEAH!" Peter also gave the same answer since he loved causing chaos and Remus however was quite worried since they cause enough trouble as it is but gave Sirius a sigh and "I guess if your all in I'll help you with getting out of it" Remus chuckled and this had a ripple effect amongst them all. The bell rang for third period meaning that they had to rush to lesson so they all left and said see you later on that night and gave each other a wave of excitement whilst they headed to their separate classes.
