The Christmas Wish

Fifth Year (Christmas at Hogwarts)

A month had passed since Halloween since the months did go by when there was no big events on, during that month all four of The Marauders had gotten themselves lost through the concept of time making the first of December the most exiting event that had ever heard of since Halloween since on the 24th of December there would be presents for all of them waiting from their family. However Sirius wasn't feeling as positive about this Christmas his family never did get him anything because they would always pay attention to his younger brother Regulus Black instead of him making every action that Sirius took in school, all the misbehaving and all the mucking about wouldn't get him into trouble since his parents didn't care anyway he was never obedient of their rules and beliefs and felt it was better to rebel making him more suspectable to the abuse that he withstood from his mother frequently. (Sirius had left last year to live with the Potters since it was safer for him, he offered to take Reggie with them but failed when he was too frightened to leave, Sirius hadn't heard from him since making him terrified about what had happened to him but he shouldn't think about it since it wasn't worth worrying about.)

James ,Pete and Remus had woken up early that morning since Quidditch practice was scheduled for 6:30am, with them waking at 6am gave them enough time to get changed and sneak out without waking a sleeping Sirius. They all headed down the stairs making sure to not to wake any of the other sleeping students that had fallen asleep studying for their OWL's in the common room. As exiting the door Remus asked Peter and James " Hey guys after practice can we talk it's important.." James replied with a " alright moons if its serious we could discuss it now if you like or whenever you want." Remus replied with " I think after practice would be better." James nodded and the trio started walking down to the pitch where Peter and Remus would sit and the benches and watch whilst James flew through the sky on his broom.

James loved playing Quidditch, it was as if he was free from reality and whatever he did didn't mean a thing since he was up in the sky far from his thoughts. As James was playing Quidditch all that he could think of was what Remus was saying earlier, it had slightly worried him and all that was going through his head was " I wonder what's up with Remus, I hope its not serious, I hope he's doing ok."

James had finished Quidditch, with his friends eagerly waiting he got changed out of his sportswear back into his lazy wear since it was a Saturday and James had nothing planned for the rest of the day but to relax and lay in bed. However James had not forgotten that Remus wanted to tell him and Pete something important so as he was approaching them both on the benches he asked eagerly "So Remus what did you have to ask us?" Remus had an anxious look on his face, this worried James since Remus was already an anxious individual and he looked more anxious than usual. Remus gulped and looked at both James and Peter " So this might be stupid but I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time.." Remus paused and looked at James and Pete with fear " I think I like Sirius..." James and Peter both looked at each other in complete shock. Remus followed with "Do you think I should tell him?" James looked at Pete both in shock what they had heard and James responded with "I think that's great Remus but you should tell Sirius this thanks for telling us and plucking up the confidence to." Remus with a scared look "Ok do you think he feels the same way." Pete looking at James nodded and said "We think he might you know Remus he does talk about you a lot." A smile lit up Remus' face and he asked both the boys "How do you think I should tell him?" James and Pete both looked at each other and said " You should do something romantic or something he'll remember forever I bet he would appreciate that." Remus responded "Lets head back to the dorms I'll think of something but Prongs, Wormtail, please don't tell Padfoot I want to tell him myself in my own time." Both Peter and James agreed to keep Remus' secret till he could pluck up the courage to tell the one he actually loved that he did in fact love him and they headed back to the dorms.

As James, Remus and Peter were making their way up to their dorms the dorm door opened with a glamourous Sirius Black standing there with a face of "I want to look glamourous and truly fabulous today", which was the look he was most certainly going for every day but today was the day he had finally pulled it off, yes Sirius always looked fabulous but today everything was perfect every hair was in place and the black shirt, leather jacket, black ripped jeans ( that Sirius had designed himself, he had taken multiple days marking out precisely where he wanted the rips) and the black calf high Doc Martens had finally made him make an outfit look utterly perfect. Sirius had also put black eyeliner, sparkly eyeshadow and highlighter on his face to match the look he was going for, his hair was like waves and he had put star clips into his hair to make it look even more glamourous and he had truly made his outfit shine and stand out between all of them today. Remus was encapsulated in how amazing he looks he had never seen Sirius put that much effort into a outfit for a weekend. Sirius breaking the shocked silence went on to say "I'm going to spend the day in Diagon Alley today and find some new clothes and jewellery to go with my outfit do any of you want to come?" Remus jumped to this opportunity and said "I'll come if you like! it could be good for me to look for some new clothes as well it is Christmas soon anyway so I do have to buy presents for everyone." (Remus was trying to not sound too suspicious since he was the first of the three to jump for the opportunity to go out with Sirius. James and Pete could see that Remus had made himself a plan and James responded with " Quidditch has worn me out Sirius but maybe another time?" Peter also responded after James saying "You two have fun me and James will just have a quiet weekend in I'm quite tired from doing all this coursework for potions." Sirius responded shocked "Ok then seems like its just you and me Remus." Remus made his way to the bathroom and tried to conjure up a plan of what he was going to do, he decided if he could get presents for everyone *including Sirius* then he would be able to get away with spending the day with Sirius and it not being suspicious since Remus had already thought of a plan on the way to the dorm of how he was going to tell Sirius how much he liked him.
