Six was relieved that Mono was now safe, but she also knew that he thought of her as a traitor to him, and judging by the clones that looked like her, he felt as if she did not care about him.
She's been trying her best to repair their friendship, but he's been either blowing her off or outright snapping at her, so Shadow decided to talk to Mono instead. So, her shadow walked over to Mono and revealed itself to him, making him jolt a little, but he was still wary of it.
"What do you want?" he asked tensely, "I only want to ask why you haven't forgiven Sasha," Shadow replied, trying to get an explanation from him, "Because she betrayed me, and her rescuing me doesn't change that fact!" he snapped back at the shadow, expecting it to back off now.
"Really?" Seven asked, having overheard the conversation, "Great... now I've gotten the Nome chief's attention..." Mono said while facepalming, "I'm assuming she ate your legs out of the pure twisted thrill of it, right?"
Seven shook his head, "No, she just ate them out of blind hunger, she was trying to leap at the sausage that was in my hands and ended up eating them instead, but I do not hold a grudge against her as you have."
Mono sputtered, trying to wrap his head around what they were saying.
She isn't a twisted monster? Mono thought to himself but she dropped me, but now that I'm remembering, her face was full of distraught when she let go of my hand... maybe it was for a good reason?
He looked over at Six, who was eating with Ricardo and a few other Nomes, telling them stories of what she had gone through when sneaking around the Maw and what she did to even get Mono back. He decided to sit next to her and listen to the stories that she was telling, bringing Seven and Shadow with him.
After Six told them of her journeys, Seven decided to share what he had to go through as well, and how he encountered Six many times along their journeys.
Once he had finished, Six elbowed Mono, "You gonna help me tell them of what we went through together, Mr. I-dragged-on-the-journey-because-I-was-trying-to-collect-hats?" Mono sighed, "You are never going to let me live that down, will you."
Six giggled at his question. Had I forgotten how adorable she was when laughing?, Mono had thought to himself.
"Nope, never gonna let it go!!" she said in a cheery tone. "And I'll never let you go ever again!" she added, which relieved Mono and led to him hugging her and placing her on his lap while they told the story of what they endured together.
