Chapter 3 - Fighting And A Trip

"We're being deployed?" Venti asked as he blinked at the words said by Himeko.

It has been a week since he had that dream and he certainly wasn't expecting something like this to happen.

"Yes. We have found a minor Honkai outbreak a few miles away from Saint Freya. So class, today you will be fighting against the real Honkai, remember your simulations and don't do anything that might put your life at risk. If I see anyone doing something stupid, they'll get detention." Himeko said to them seriously.

"Yes Miss Himeko!" The class said loudly with Venti being the only one who said it in a normal voice.

After that the girls all got into their Valkyrie suits and grabbed their weapons. Venti also did the same as he also put on his combat suit with his new weapons on his person. This did catch the attention of Himeko and the other girls but they didn't say anything about it.

'I never thought I would be using these two so quickly.' Venti thought to himself as he looked at his new weapons.

"Alright, all of you on the Hyperion now!" Himeko ordered as the Valkyrie's in training and the knight in training entered the ship.

The Hyperion immediately made a beeline towards the area the Honkai outbreak happened while Himeko brought her students to the briefing room as she gave them an explanation of the things that they should do.

"Alright, listen carefully, right now the Honkai have occupied this area, your job is to make sure to kill every single one of them and not let any escape the area. The Hyperion will stay in the sky and keep a watch on the things happening on the ground and make sure to blast any Honkai that might manage to escape. Your mission, is to destroy the Honkai and come back alive. Is that understood!" Himeko said before shouting at the end.

"Yes ma'am!" The students shouted as one.

"Good. Now we will reach our destination in a few minutes. Remember your training and fight with all you have." Himeko said to them seriously.

Then the Hyperion reached the area as it landed and the students exited the ship as the Hyperion flew up to keep an eye on the area. The Valkyrie's in training got ready with their weapons as Venti took out his gun and looked at the Honkai horde which is making their way to them as the Hyperion had alerted it of their presence.

"Let's do this girls!" One girl shouted out.

"Yeaaahhh!" The others shouted as they brandished their weapons.

Then they attacked as Venti ran behind them as the girls spread out as the ones with guns shot them while those with melee weapons got close as they fought them. Venti drew his sword and held it in his right hand as he passed a few Valkyrie's fighting as he aimed his gun at a Honkai zombie and shot it at its head disorienting it for a second, which allowed him to stab it through the chest using his sword before he pulled it out of its body and sliced its head off.

He then dashed forward and parried a blade attack from another zombie before shooting it as it used its speed to dodge him as he pocketed the gun and held the sword with two hands. Then he attacked and exchanged blows with it as he kept a serious face.

His sword strikes increased in speed until the dual wielding zombie wasn't able to keep up and had its right sword thrown into the air by Venti before he decapitated it. He grabbed the short sword from its hand and threw it at a Flame Catapult, stabbing on its ball and causing an explosion as he caught the other Katana that he had flipped into the air.

He then dashed and started to slice and dice the various enemies with his two weapons as he moved like the wind and didn't stay in one place. He would cut one Honkai Beast and then attack another before coming back in an erratic manner which helped in the fact that the Honkai wasn't able to home in on him as he always moved.
