IT x Y/n one-shot

warning! Slight gore

.

.

The wind pounds against the house, rain beating the roof. The sound of thunder rang through the small house shaking its poorly built foundation. My dad sat in the living room, newspaper in hand, a lamp on the side table giving him just enough light to read. I slipped on my brown rain coat and some shoes and walked toward the door.

"I'm going out pa, don't wait up," I called to him. He just nods, not even looking up. I sigh, slipping my hood over my head, opening the door and walking out to the pouring rain.

As soon as I stepped out into the storm it felt as if an invisible weight was lifted off my shoulders. The sound of the thunder and the way the rain danced in the wind, and how the lightning lit up the street, it was beautiful in every way. I ran down the street splashing in every puddle, laughing at the top of my lungs and grinning from ear to ear. I felt alive for the first time in months.

I continued down the street, rain beating against my jacket, which wasn't really doing much to keep me warm but I didn't mind. I turned a corner down a random street not really caring where I was going. On the other side of the street I saw someone crouched down next to a sewage drain. They were wearing a yellow rain jacket, the hood covering their face so I didn't know who it was.

I walked closer to the person, and I immediately recognized them. His name was Georgie. He was younger than me and the only way I knew him was cause he was in my little sister's class. He seemed to be talking to the drain, or something in the drain.

I saw him slowly reach his hand into the drain and in a violent flash of red, he fell backward screaming and crying, trying to crawl away from the sewage drain. I stood, mouth hung open in complete horror. Georgie's arm, from mid-bicep down, was completely gone, leaving a bloody nub of flesh and yellow fabric in its place.

I ran toward him trying to get to him and help, but when I was at least five yards away a pale arm reached out from the sewer, grabbing Georgie by his ankle and violently dragging the little boy into the sewer.

I screamed falling to my hands and knees in front of the drain. The water around the drain was red, the blood soaking my jeans. "Georgie?! Georgie, are you there?!" I screamed into the darkness. I continued yelling his name for a few minutes, getting no response.

"Hello..?" an unrecognizable voice asked from the darkness below. "Georgie?!" I called back, a glint of hope in my shaking voice. Then a glowing pair of red eyes peaked up. That's not Georgie. Before I could do anything, run, scream, anything at all, a hand reached out to me and everything went black.
