An 'Almost' Intimate Moment

Lakshmi woke up early in the morning, to the sounds of birds chirping. Feeling weight on herself, she looked to her left to see Rishi, peacefully sleeping with his face bug in the nook of her neck

She smiled at him, and gently moved his hand from her waist, she successfully got up, but before she could completely leave the bed, she was pulled back on it by a pair of muscular arms

"Kahan?" Rishi asks her, smirking at her, then her lipstick, which had been smudged badly

"Nahane jaa rahi hun, aj reception hai na" Lakshmi answered, shifting herself closer to him, and leaning onto his arm

"Abhi, itni subha? Thaki nahi ho kya?" He shamelessly asks her, to which she blushes and looks down

He made her face him and then felt her lips with his cold fingertips, her lipstick was smudged completely, her tikka was lost somewhere in her hair, her chunni was off, she was only wearing  her blouse and her shalwar, her stomach was exposed

The drapes of her lehenga were messed up, her chunni on the floor, so were both their shoes, The rose petals on the white bed sheets were now on the floor, scattered

"Rishi, bas karo, utho aur mere saath ye sab saaf karwao" Lakshmi said, trying to create distance between them

"Kyun? Sudeep hai na, woh kar dega" Rishi offers, to which Lakshmi says

"Nahi, humara room hai na, hum hi theek karenge" Lakshmi spatted out, pushing him 

She gets up and takes a kurta out of her wardrobe, she sprints to the bathroom and quickly changes

Her lehenga was still in her arms, she came outside of the restroom only to be pulled into a strong embrace

Rishi captures her in his strong arms and secures them behind her waist, while she tries to process the sudden action

"I love you" Rishi confesses once again, tightening his grip, making Lakshmi smile

"I love you too, ab chalo, kaam karwao" She confesses, smiling, and separates from him

She places her lehenga in the wardrobe and starts cleaning the mess they created last night

She picks up their shoes and places them neatly near the dressing table, she picks up Rishi's coat and was about to go hang it inside the wardrobe when Rishi stopped her

"Rukko, mom ne bola tha ke humari shadi ke kapde almari ke upar rakhna hai, toh isse upar rakho" He tells her

"Upar?" She questioned, looking up at the suitcase on the wardrobe, her eyes widen

"Mera haath wahan thak kaisy pohunche ga Rishi?" She naively asks

"Tum apne kapde nikalo wardrobe se, main batata hoon" He says

Lakshmi takes out her lehenga from the wardrobe, and folds it properly, she was still at it when  he suddenly lifts her from behind

"Rishi?!" She gloats out, confused

Rishi signals her to place the lehenga on top of the cupboard and she does, he places her down so that she can pick up Rishi's clothes

He lifts her back up near the wardrobe and she places the final piece on the cupboard, he places her down 

"Thank you," Lakshmi says, before moving near the door to go out, but is stopped by Rishi, who lifts her up in his arms

"Rishi?! Kya kar rahe ho?" She questions him

"Maine tumhari help ki hai, mera reward kidar hai?" He asks her

"Rishi! Pehle jao, jaa kar shower lelo, phir" She says, trying to stand back onto her feet, but to no avail
