Chapter 4: Exploring the Park

When Barry and I got into the car, I could feel a sense of tension between the two of us. He seemed mad at me, for advice reasons. I'm making him and my dad work later because I got the raptors all worked up, I don't even know how I did that. But the car ride felt very awkward and not a single word was spoken between us. Once we arrived at the park, he gave me a smile and a quick goodbye before driving of back to the raptor paddock. I made my way into the park. There were so many things to do, so I went to go see the mosasaurus show. I only saw it from a distance, and would love to see it up close. Barry gave me VIP passes before I felt the jeep, the man scanned by bracelet and let me inside the show. Once I entered the viewing area, I saw Zach waving at me, I guess he wanted me to sit with them. I sat down beside him and his brother in the "splash zone" but I didn't care. "Excited to see the show?" His little asked, I nodded as a response. "I don't believe we have met." I acknowledged. "No, I don't think so. I know I saw you talking to Zach on the boat. Anyway, I'm Gray his younger cooler brother." Zach glared at him for saying he was cooler then him. I giggled and extended my hand to him, "I'm Bridget." He shook it and the show was about to begin.

Time skip to the end of show

Zach, Gray, and I walked out of the show soaked from head to toe, but I didn't care. We all decided we were hungry so we went to one of the restaurants along the walking way leading up to the main centre. We ordered and were talking about our favourite dinosaurs and just anything you could think of. Gray then went to the washroom which left me and Zach alone. "So, you liking the park?" He asked me. "Yeah it's awesome. I just got to the park though, had stuff to do I guess." I replied. "If you want, I could give you my phone number so if you wanted to meet up sometime while your here?" He asked while looked down at his plate, I could tell he was embarrassed. I giggled and nodded my head, "sure! It would be nice to hang out with someone around my age around here." I said. He looked at me and smiled, we exchanged numbers and put them into our phones. Gray came back and both of them said they needed to leave to go do something, they didn't tell me what. We agreed to meet later on today and we went our separate ways. I had so many things to do, but I had so much time to go with it.

A/N: sorry that it's short! I have big plans for the next two chapters and I'm really excited to show them! This chapter was more of a filler between the raptor chapter and the next two chapters.
