After the touching moment ended, Fred and Jon left the house, leaving Seungmin, Hannah, Felix, Hyeona and Hyunjin with the birthday boy - or should I say birthday man?
The crusty ass middle-aged people enjoyed their time playing card games and board games. Particularly UNO and Monopoly.
When Hyeona's head wandered around, she thought of the adults playing truth or dare. She told Hyunjin about this and told him to play it. Of course, papa Hyunjin can't find a reason not to. So, he said yes.
After agreeing, Hyeona went to his uncle's private library to read some books. Hyunjin turned to his friends and asked,
"Hey guys, how 'bout we play truth or dare? Hyeona suggested we do."
"Oh sure! Don't see why not" Chris replied.
"Obviously because your vision is deteriorating, old man." Seungmin said with a sarcastic tone.
"Damn that hit on a personal level. Bro, whatchu think you gonna say?" Hannah said, purposely trying to rile up the two.
"Young people do not understand the way of adults."
"Guys, let's just play. Stop bickering. Chris, you're a freaking grown up man." Felix stated with his freaking deep voice.
"Mmkay." The two adults obediently nodded.
"So, I guess I'll start spinning?"
"Kay Hyun. I'll help you spin yourself."
"Lix, I meant the bottle."
Hyunjin spun the bottle real hard causing the bottle to land on his direction.
"WHAT-"
"Truth or Dare." Said Hannah.
"Truth, I guess."
"Did you ever crave Felix, like, sexually, when you guys were still friends? Y'know, during your rut?"
"Wha- N-NO.!" Said Hyunjin, face burning up.
"What's with the hesitation? Don't tell me.."
Hannah grinned to Felix's direction, only to see the boy all red.
"Or maybe, it was the other way 'round?"
Felix's face went redder than ever. Stuttering, he stood for his own and stated, "N-no! H-h..Hyunjin was only a friend!"
"Really? Then why react so much? Same with Hyunjin?"
"I-"
Felix and Hyunjin reacted so much it made the rest suspicious.
"Hohoho, well, since no one is admitting, I guess we'll have to move to the next victim!"
Hannah then spins the bottle and lands on - Seungmin
"SEUNGMIN! Truth or Dare?"
"Dare. I prefer not to spill shit."
"Aight, mate. I dare you to do something so damn embarassing you don't wanna show your face to anyone else!"
Hannah says, definitely something planned up her sleeve.
"What the hell?" Seungmin asks, tilting his head.
"Kiss Chris in the cheeks and his jawline next to his ear - twice for each!"
Keep in mind that the two 'victims' were sitting close to eachother.
"Could've chosen something else if you wanna embarass me, but okay."
Seungmin approaches Chris and cups his left cheek and kisses the other twice. He goes to his jawline near his ear and kisses him twice as well, but this was slow, making Chris blush very hard.
"That was easy."
Hannah and the others were flabbergasted, while Chris was red.
"Wha- HOW COULD YOU DO THAT SO NONCHALANTLY?"
Asked Felix, definitely surprised.
"Well, Chris is like a father to me. Thinking that, it would feel right to kiss Chris with familial love." Seungmin replied.
"O-oh, yeah. Yeah. Thank you, Seungmin. I looove you very much." Chan replied, giving Seungmin a big hug.
"Yeah. Love you too, old man." Seungmin says, patting the older in the back.
They pull back from the hug 3 seconds after.
"By the way, Felix, I'd like to talk to you in the kitchen. Hyunjin, would that be okay if I take him for a little?" Chris asked.
"Oh..yeah, sure. I wouldn't really mind even if you didn't ask me." Hyunjin replied.
"Mkay. C'mere, Lix. Let's go."
Felix stands up from his spot and follows Chris to the kitchen, curious for the reason.
Chris takes a chair and signals Felix to sit down. He takes his own and sits down, facing Felix.
With a little hesitation, Chris says to Felix,
"Uh, Lix..I know you have a fiancé now, but I just wanted to get this off my chest. You don't have to answer me, since I already know the answer. I didn't tell you this since I didn't want to damage our friendship..but, I hope we can still be friends and be comfortable with eachother, even after this."
Felix replies, "Chris, what're you trying to say?"
"Felix, I like you. I've liked you for a long time already. I know you'll reject me, so you don't need to say anything. We better get going now since we don't want the others to suspect anything."
Chris heads off to the group, leaving Felix in the kitchen. It'd be a lie if he said he wasn't the least bit affected.
A real bad lie.
He can't cry. Not right now.
Not when Felix was behind him. Calling his name. Holding his wrist.
"I..only see you.."
No. Not right now.
"As a friend, Chris."
No, he didn't cry. He was just..hurt.
But what then?
Pain was still pain.
It still hurt.
That your crush of four years rejected you for a man..a selfless alpha who impregnated him just because of some rut, and planned on marrying him.
Damn, what a bitch.
Chris can treat him better. So, so much better.
But what then?
In the end he chose him. What can he do? Felix isn't a toy. He's not a thing. He's his own person. No way was Chris trying to control an innocent human being.
"Felix, I hope we can still be friends after this. Uh, maybe give me some...maybe three days alone? Just gotta sort my thoughts, don't worry." Chris said as he hugged Felix and patted him on the back.
"I.. I'm sorry-"
"Shh, don't be. I'm happy enough to be your friend and Hyeona's uncle. Let's go."
The two went to the group who was laughing at Hyunjin's clown makeup.
"Oh my god what the hell did you guys do when we weren't here?!" Chris asked. Shocked, of course.
"They made me the whole circus."
