Today was a very special day for one of Felix's special people. It was Christopher's birthday.
The family drove off to his house with a birthday cake they made for him.

"Dad, is it Uncle Chris's birthday?"

"Yes, Hyeona. Uncle Chris invited us to his birthday. Uncle Seungmin, Uncle Fred and Uncle Jon are gonna be there." 

"Okay! I'm so excited to see Uncle Chris!!" 

Hyunjin was very curious as to why Hyeona would be so excited about Felix's senior in his company, this he asked Hyeona,
"Hyeona, you seem to like Uncle Chris a lot. Does he play with you often?" 

"Mhm! When papa wasn't here, Uncle Chris and Dad would take care of me when granna and grandpa wasn't at home. We would watch movies, and we would play hide and seek! Uncle was very bad at the game, he was always the one to be found!" Replied Hyeona with an enthusiastic tone, which, of course, made Hyunjin a little jealous.

This man, who was just an uncle, made Hyeona smile so wide at the littlest mention of Christopher.

"Hehe, Hyeona, you really love uncle Chris that much? Better than papa Hyun?" Asked Felix with a playful smirk.

"Of course not! Dad and Papa are the people I love most!!" Hyeona replied.

Hyunjin was a little relieved by Hyeona's statement. He was worried his daughter would hate him for being absent her whole life. Of course, he still worries, but it lessens everytime Hyeona says he loves him dearly.

The family then arrived at Christopher's place. They exited the car and took the cake. They went towards the door to knock and was welcomed by Chris who was smiling at the sight of Hyeona.

"Oh! Hyeona! You're here!"

"Happy birthday, uncle Chris! We made a cake for you!!"

"Aww, that's so sweet!! Felix and..Hyunjin..right?"

Chris almost broke his smile at the sight of Hyunjin. He wasn't familiar with the man, but clearly Hyunjin wasn't so comfortable around him.

"Yes. Hwang Hyunjin. Happy birthday, Christopher."

"Ah, thank you very much." Chris replied, bowing his head slightly to express his gratitude to the family for greeting him.

"Happy birthday, Chris!"

"Thanks, Lix. Hey, you guys can't keep on standing there! Come inside, there's lots of food you'd wanna try!" Chris stated, smiling brightly again..

They all entered the house and went to the table. Felix put down the cake and unboxed it, revealing a 2-tier chocolate cake with white sprinkles. The cake wrote, 'Happy Birthday, Christopher Bahng! - F/ Felix Lee and Familee'

A girl approaches and comments, "Wow, Lix. That cake looks good."

"Oh, Hannah. Hello." Felix greets.

"Hello. Mind me asking who this gentleman is?"

"Oh, this is Hyunjin, my fiancé."
Felix replied, slightly blushing.

"I see. Alpha? Sorry, can't smell. I'm a beta."

"Yes, I'm an alpha. Are you Christopher's sister?" Hyunjin asked after replying.

"Pretty much."

"Oh, so is Christopher also a beta?"

"Yup. One kid was staying home in Australia and didn't come with me and my brother here in L.A. That kid was our youngest. Also a beta."
Hannah replied.

"I see. You said you're both from Australia, right?" Asked Hyunjin.

"Yeah." Chris replied.
"We cane from Australia, but we moved here to L.A to take care of our business here."

"Is that so? I believe I've also came here for the same reason."

"Oh? Your family owns a business?"

"Yeah. Hwang Techs."

"Wait, HWANG TECHS? AS IN THAT HWANG HYUNJIN??"

"Yes."

"Oh, that's amazing." Chris said after calming himself down.

"Chris, do you perhaps know Hyunjin?" Felix asked, curious.

"Yeah! Their family business was one of the fastest developing businesses in the industry! Who wouldn't?" Chris replied enthusiastically.

"Oh."

"Lix, I really can't believe you were my best friend and you did not know something that almost everyone knows." Hyunjin sarcastically said.

"Ehehe <3" Felix chuckled, acting cutely.

Hannah was getting tired of the lovebirds going Lovey-dovey, so she stated, "Guys, when will my brother get to blow the candles on his cake? tomorrow when you guys finish your lovey lovey doveydove?"

"Ah, right, right, sorry Chris..hehe" Felix replied, beet red.

"Oi, don't you dare leave us out of the fun."
Seungmin said, being next to the door and beside Jonathan and Fred.

"Happy birthday, Chris. Fred and I prepared a small gift for you. I guess you'll have to blow the candles before you open these." Jonathan stated.

"Oh, thanks a lot man." Chris replied.

Hannah and Felix prepared the candles on the cake and Hyunjin lifted up Hyeona for her to light up the birthday candles.

"Chris, come here! The candles are lit now!"

Chris approached the cake as the visitors sang him his birthday song.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday dear Chris, happy birthday toooo youuuuu"

Chris wished before he blew the candles. Everyone clapped, wishing him a happy birthday and a great life ahead.

"Not gonna lie, Chris, your cake looks exquisite."

"Which cake? My ass or the cake Felix made?"

"The freaking cake, Chris." Seungmin replied as he held a spatula.

"Okay, okay, just joking. You guys have your slices of cake. Thanks a lot again for the cake, Lix."

"No problem."

"Okay, now that you've blown the candles, I think you're ready to open mine and Fred's presents."

"Oh really? Thanks, Jon and Fred!"

Chris went towards the presents and opened them like they were fragile. He was delighted to see a Nintendo switch from Jon's gift. In Fred's gift was a simple but special hand-knitten sweater and beanie.

"I really love these gifts! Thank you guys!"

"Glad you do. Jon and I made those knits together."

"Hey gramps, you haven't opened mine yet. Open it now." Seungmin demanded.

"Okay, just wait, lemme take my time admiring your handiwork in wrapping the present."

Chris was surprised to see..a photo from high school. It was in a photo frame. Many might say this didn't mean much, but to Chris, this meant a lot.

Tears started going out of Chris's eyes as he stared at the picture. The picture was of Chris, holding his dog Berry with Seungmin. Berry was his dog who died of old age. This was the very last picture that they took with Berry before the dog sadly passed away.

"Uncle Chris.. Don't worry! I'm sure Berry is happy you're happy!!" Hyeona assured Chris, gently patting him on the back.

"I..*sniffle*...Yeah, Hyeona.. you're right. I'm just crying because I'm so happy. I love this gift, Seungmin. Thank you." He said, shortly after pulling Seungmin in a warm hug.

Seungmin, seeing Chris crying, was also in the verge of tears, but he held it in as he doesn't want the older to worry.

'This is why I shouldn't have fallen for you, Chris.'
