(A/N: Ths one's gonna be a short backstory of Hyun's dada and his mom whose name idk so I just went with the name Jungreu 👍 plus idk the name of his dad aswell so ill be giving em random names)
Hyeona and Hyunjin's dad went outside to look at the flowers in the garden, but Hyeona's eyes were stuck on the statue.
"Hyeona, are you curious about this statue?"
"Yes! Who is this beautiful young lady?"
"Well, Hyeona. She is your late grandmother. She died of leukemia. She may not remain in this world, but to me, she remains forever in my heart. Many can forget her, but never will I, even in the day of my death."
"Grandpaps, I'm touched by what you say, but don't say the last part you just said!! Grandnana will be mad! Thinking of death like that!!"
"haha, Hyeona, you really take after her in attitude. I'm rather surprised you can talk like an adult."
"Well, my teacher says I'm a genius after all." Hyeona smugily replied.
"Hahaha"
'Jungreu, do you see this..? Our son has grown up and now has a family. He even gave us a lovely granddaughter that takes after you jn attitude and beauty. I really wish you were here to see this, but what then..bygones will be bygones, the dead will be the dead and forgotten, and what has passed has passed.'
*Flashback***
"Yeonsun, I love you so much! How could I not accept? I loove you too much to do so!!" Jungreu replied to Yeonsun's marriage proposal.
Yeonsun then put the ring in Jungreu's finger and hugged her tight. This was the day the dealt to tie the knot, an unforgettable one.
Jungreu, out of happiness, kissed Yeonsun with love and affection. She was so happy to be his beloved's soon-to-be wife.
Though, their roots had betrayed them. Once their parents heard the news, they were very much against their marriage. The two lovers belonged to two opposing families, their families could never get along with eachother.
Angered with their statements, Yeonsun left the house and started his business of Electronics which grew to be a prosperous business. The two then married and tied the knot and developed the company to its already flourishing prosperity.
They then had Hyunjin and lived very happily, until the year Hyunjin turned 2, when Jungreu was sent to the hospital after showing symptoms of leukemia. Not even a month passed..
She died.
