Gojo's POV:
Yumi and I moved to the tea house's staff break room, the scent of freshly brewed tea lingering in the air. As we settled in, I couldn't help but maintain my confident demeanor, knowing that every action I took would be scrutinized by both the staff and the customers.
"So, Gojo Satoru,"
Yumi began, her tone a mix of professionalism and amusement.
"You certainly know how to make an entrance. Our patrons were quite taken by you."
I chuckled playfully. "Well, i guess i like to keep it interesting."
Yumi went on to discuss the job interview and the responsibilities that would come with my new role at the Enchanted Sakura Tea House. She explained that the tea house often hosted events and gatherings, and my assistance would be valuable during these busy times.
"Events, you say..? Well this times is exactly kind of like my challenge."
The staff members in the room seemed to appreciate my enthusiasm, and I couldn't help but notice that my playful banter had lightened the atmosphere.
Yumi smiles slyly, and says in a professionally way.
"Alright, you're in for the job. We are in desperate need of handsome boys like you. Your presence will attract even more customers. I'll adjust the schedules right now, and you can start tomorrow. Be here before 5 pm."
I nodded, a sense of gratitude washing over me, and I bowed respectfully to Yumi.
"Thank you, Miss Yumi, for giving me this great opportunity."
Certainly, here's a revised version with the girls blushing and feeling a bit shy:
As I exited the Enchanted Sakura Tea House, I noticed that the group of girls from Kuoh Academy who had caught my attention earlier - the ones who had screamed in excitement at the sight of my face and blue eyes - were waiting for me. Their faces were filled with curiosity as they approached.
"Excuse me!" one of them spoke up, her voice tinged with a mix of excitement and wonder, her cheeks blushing lightly. "Could you be a foreigner? You seem so different... you look really handsome with your silver hair and blue eyes."
Their enthusiastic compliments didn't faze me I was accustomed to receiving such attention. Maintaining my confident demeanor, I offered a warm smile. "Thank you for the kind words," I replied casually, noticing the faint blush on their cheeks. "You're partially right. I'm not from around here. I'm actually a transfer student from abroad, and I just arrived in Kuoh City."
The girls exchanged delighted glances, their shyness becoming more evident. They were clearly intrigued by my presence.
"That's so cool!" another one exclaimed, her voice slightly shaky as she blushed even more. "Kuoh Academy is an amazing school. You should definitely consider enrolling there. We're all students there, and it's a great place to make friends."
I nodded appreciatively, acknowledging their recommendation. "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the suggestion. By the way, my name's Satoru Gojo."
The girls introduced themselves as well, their words slightly stumbling as they blushed and exchanged bashful smiles. We engaged in a brief but friendly conversation, and it was clear that my striking appearance had left them a bit starstruck. I couldn't help but find their reactions amusing.
After the conversation ended with the girls from Kuoh Academy, I decided to take a leisurely stroll through the bustling mall. It was a chance to familiarize myself with this new environment and maybe uncover some opportunities.
As I walked through the mall, I couldn't help but overhear a conversation among a group of people nearby. They were talking about an affordable apartment complex in the area.
"...heard there's a pretty cheap apartment building not too far from here," one of them mentioned.
My ears perked up at the mention of affordable housing. While I had managed to secure a job at the tea house, I still needed a place to stay, and the thought of a nearby apartment sounded promising. I decided to discreetly eavesdrop on their conversation to gather more information.
"Really? That could be a game-changer for us," another person in the group chimed in. "Living costs in this city can be pretty high."
The group continued discussing the apartment's location, rent, and amenities. It sounded like a practical option for someone like me who was just starting to establish themselves in this unfamiliar world.
After they were done talking, I casually walked away to avoid getting spotted while eavesdropping. As I distanced myself from the group, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. "Great," I thought to myself, "well, now I've found a place I can stay in... that's two problems solved."
I glanced down at my wallet, which held approximately ¥100,000, (roughly equivalent to $674.) While it wasn't an extravagant amount, it was enough to cover the initial expenses for a modest apartment. In this unfamiliar universe, I needed to be mindful of my resources, and this affordable housing option seemed like a step in the right direction.
I decided to make my way to the location of the cheap apartment.
As I continued my walk toward the location of the cheap apartment, I decided to take a shortcut through a narrow alleyway.
However, my leisurely stroll was abruptly interrupted when I stumbled upon an unexpected sight in the dimly lit alley. There, standing before me, was a young woman who, at first glance, I assumed she was cosplaying. She wore a distinct black dress, a stark contrast to the usual white attire of angels. Her black feathered wings on her back marked her as a fallen angel.
My initial amusement at the sight of what I believed to be a dedicated cosplayer quickly dissipated when I noticed her intense and unwavering gaze. There was an otherworldly aura about her that made me take an interest on her.
But Before I could react, she manifested a radiant weapon that resembled a spear made of pure light. With a swift and practiced motion, she hurled the luminous spear in my direction.
My Infinity ability, always active, instantly formed an invisible barrier around me. The spear of light collided with the barrier, and although it couldn't reach me, it stopped in its tracks, unable to penetrate the protective field.
The fallen angel's eyes widened in surprise and disbelief as her weapon came to a halt, its radiant glow flickering against the invisible resistance. I maintained my composure, my confidence unwavering as I assessed the situation. It was clear that this encounter was no mere coincidence, and this angelic being was not to be taken lightly.
With a calm and confident measured tone, I addressed her, "I'm not sure what you're after, but attacking me won't lead to a productive conversation. Let's start over. Who are you, and what brings you here to suddenly attack me?" My words carried a subtle warning, a reminder that I was no ordinary teenager she could intimidate easily.
