"Wow." Eliena said as Sammael stroked her outer thigh for comfort. Aliana had just explained what happened outside of Morain's cafe,
"Yeah..." Cassiel intwined his hand with Aliana's and squeezed, with a slight smile she continued, "it was shocking and frightening to say the least." Cassiel kissed the top of her head.
"Sounds like you need some retail therapy." Eliena winked with a smile.
"That sounds nice, but King is on the hunt for me..."
"No worry, we can send either of the boys with you, Ana." Jeremy smiled at her. She looked around the room and the brothers nodded, confirming what Jeremy said.
"In that case, I'm game." Aliana smiled in delight.
"Would you like to stay for dinner, Sammael and Eliena?" Bella May asked walking into the living room wiping her hands on her apron, "it'll be ready in a couple hours, but I made Snickerdoodles and Ginger Snaps." She smiled then frowned when she saw the tight expression on Sammael's face, "what's wrong?"
"I'm allergic to cinnamon." Eliena said and then kissed Sammael's cheek, "it's alright, Sammy." His expression then softened.
"Oh dear! How could I have forgotten, I'm so sorry Eliena. Well good thing, you really like Ginger Snaps." Bella May wrung her fingers together in embarrassment. Jeremy came up beside her and placed his hands on hers, stopping the movement of her hands. And he smiled softly at her.
"It's okay Bella May, it's no big." Sammael's expression tightened again, looking at him she repeated, "it's no big." She said firmly. Sammael's face remained tight, but he stayed quiet.
"Awkward tension..." Ballad laughed nervously, "will you tell us Sammael what happened?" He nodded.
"It was a couple of years ago, back when Eli still lived with her brother and in high school." Eliena's cheeks flushed and Sammael gripped her thigh in comfort and wrapped his other arm around her waist. "Eli's allergy to cinnamon was more severe then it is now and it was dangerous for her. Large doses in her food could close her airway and inhaling/smelling ground cinnamon could do the same. Now she can handle smelling it. Eliena was still a target to get at Danolo and it was during her junior year right before Thanksgiving. And she dreaded meeting my parents dispite the fact that we had been dating for a couple years and I constantly told her that they will love her..."

"I've always spent Thanksgiving with my brother, Sammy. It's going to be weird this year." Eliena looked up him as she buckled her seatbelt. He had just picked her up from school and Thanksgiving break was in a week.
"I know, I've always gone with you. I want you to come this year to meet my parents. They've been begging for me to bring you so they can meet you." Sammael started his car and began to drive her home. "I've also told your brother my plan and he agrees that you should come with me." He placed his right hand on her left thigh. Eliena turned her head to face him,
"Really?"
"Yeah, so will you come with me next week?" He squeezed her thigh.
"Alright, I will." Eliena smiled and placed her left hand on his right and intertwined them.
"Thank you Eli." When he stopped at a red light, he turned his head leaned over and kissed her passionately on the lips. Eliena smiled and kissed him back before pulling apart which earned a whimper from him.
"The light is green, Sammy." She giggled. He turned to face the road again and nodded his head stiffly and continued the way to her house. He pulled his car into the driveway of her house, before she got out he pulled her into his lap.
"I'll be here at six to pick you up for tonight, Eli." He then bent his head and claimed her lips, and placed his hands on her waist under shirt and moaned. Eliena moaned her agreement as she wrapped her arms around his neck. After a couple minutes, he opened his door and pulled away. "I love you Eli." He smiled as she got off.
"I love you too, Sammy." And she gave him one final kiss on the cheek before she walking to her front door. She walked inside and he pulled out of the driveway.

It was 5:50 and Eliena was all dolled up. She wore a gray strapless floor length with a black sash at the waist and she paired it with her glittery black high heel shoes. She curled her long blonde hair. Eliena opted for no makeup because it was a pain to put on and take off so she just added her jewelry. She put on her necklace which had an onyx in the center and matching earrings.
