It was an hour ago when I asked Kai for a spell, I even managed to get fully dressed with makeup, so if it's not done now I'm gonna throw a fit.

Kidding!

Kinda.

I walk through the royal halls with a confidence that usually gets me lectured, but maids look at me with soft smiles on their faces which in return makes me smile. It's easy to see they love me, it's also easy to see men will sometimes feel intimidated by me.

As lovely and fun as that sounds, it pisses me off a little. How come men will feel intimidated, emasculated, over powered, maybe even threatened by me but they won't let me fight with them? In my eyes that's ridiculous.

Kai's room isn't far from my room so I'm there quite quick, I knock harshly on his door and don't even wait for a response before lightly making my way into the room. Totally didn't just barge in.

"Ilena!" Kai covers his boxers with one hand and tries to pull up his dress trousers with the other, "there's not a point in knocking if your planning on barging in anyway!" I fake a yawn, gracefully waltzing over to Kai's bed only tripping on my feet once or twice... maybe five times.

I have to stop myself from jumping on his bed, only because my corset is too tight and I might crush my ribs if I do that. Hopefully I'd crush my bum lifter or whatever that horribly uncomfortable creation is called.

"Anyways~ I was wondering if the potions finished?" I bat my eyelashes and draw out my sentences to be just a tad bit more annoying,
"Yes it is, but I'm not finished getting ready so we won't be using it right now." I groan.

"I swear on the ancients if you don't hurry I'm gonna die of boredom!"
"I question your ability to speak like a royal, especially when you say things like 'gonna'" he mocks my voice and I let a huff of annoyance out, 'at least I'm not a goody two shoes!'

Kai's white dress shirt hangs loosely on his shoulders and arms, they look like something the image of Kai would wear "a sailor boy born to roam the sea", his black trousers hug his legs and his stylish shoes sit comfortably on his feet.

Usually I'm not a fan of balls, as you can probably tell, but I know a good taste of fashion when I see one. Although I don't have one, I'd wear whatever looks comfortable but if you asked me to pick an outfit for someone else (that I liked) I would jump on the opportunity immediately.

He rolls up his sleeves and lets out a soft sigh, almost so soft I can't hear it, then turns to look at me.
"You ready!" I grin and run over to him.

"On 1?" Kai hands me a glass with a light purple liquid inside,
"On 1." He confirms and we get ready to take the potion like a shot:

"1!" We both say at the same time and chug our drinks.

I remember Kai telling me years ago that in order for this spell to work I have to beg to be him, although I don't remember having to use blood, not like I've not been doing that for the past 18 years of my life. 'Please let me be Kai, please let me be Kai, turn me to Kai, turn me to Kai, I am kai, I am kai.'

I finish the chant and slowly peak with one eye, I see myself in Kai's clothes and body. My mouth automatically makes a screech, "we did it!" I whisper-yell jumping up and down.

My voice sounds exactly like his, charming but sweet like honey, and he looks exactly like me.

"We have done this spell a numerous amount of times Ilena," his tone sounds weird on my voice but I do my best to ignore it.

"Actually it's Kaiden prince of Gertia lover of the sea, the waves, the crisp air on boats... I don't know what else to say, help!" He rolls his eyes,

"You do know I get sea sick even thinking about the sea?" 'No but I do now' I think to myself as I run to the mirror and start checking myself out.

He does the same. I can tell he's just as happy as I am in his own little way, he's got a little smile on my face and he keeps fidgeting with the dresses fabric.

"I... love it," i can barely hear his voice with how quiet he's being,
"Me too."
