There's something special about Ilena but I can not seem to make it out, shes a lot kinder and less spoilt but when a male servant came up to her and seemingly was beginning to look down on her she gave him a stern warning that set him straight.

My mind can not help but wander to prince Kaiden, would he be the same? The opposite? Better? Worse? I do not know how to concentrate on Ilenas face when Kaidens is nearby.

We sit in the garden, she's making something with her hands but refuses to show me. Overall, hanging out with Ilena is fun, I would be able to bear a marriage with her. Making love would be difficult but maybe she will not want children, that would be a blessing from the ancients.

"I'm officially done!" Ilena interrupts my train of thought and shows me two flower crowns she just made, they look beautiful and I can feel a spark fly through my fingers as she passes one to me.

"Thank you, princess." Ilena looks at me confused before realising something and muttering a 'your welcome' almost so quiet I can not hear her.

We talk for what feels like hours and by the time we are done it's almost dark, I wonder if we were meant to go in at any time earlier to get food. I take my flower crown off and a maid comes over to us and politely leads us to the dining room, our parents are still sat in the same seats.

Politely, I pull out Ilenas chair and she graciously sits down slightly bowing her head beforehand. My seat is further down the table next to my father, Ilena is next to her mother and me, Aurora will be next to our mother and Kaiden, meanwhile Kaiden will be sat next to his father across from me.

The rich dining table looks extendable and i can not help but question if its magic, I've heard rumours that Gertia is full of mages, witches, wizards, sorcerers, sorceress', anything magic. Maybe Kaiden even has magic.
