Life 1: hopeless life

the year 1992

in the month of April 1992 on the 16th day, a boy was born, he had brown hair and golden eyes he was quiet when he was born. As his mother held him in her arms she released a few tears of happiness looking at her child, after 2 miscarriages she had given up hope to bear children and now her wish had come true, she carried him full term and he was completely healthy and perfectly fine she gave birth to him on time and her birth was as smooth as can be this was Miki Hyoudou she looked at her husband Gouro Hyoudou who had a soft smile on his face

Miki:(tearing up) Dear look our baby boy

Gouro: I see my dear you did well

He gave her a kiss on the head and gently took their son from her, he had a smile on his face, he looked at the smile on her face and matched it

Gouro: now I want you to rest It has been a long day, rest i'll handle the rest for now my dear

She meekly smiled at him slowly closed her eyes and drifted to sleep he placed the baby into the bedside cot

Gouro: issei Hyoudou welcome to the world my son may your life always be full of excitement and joy

When they brought him home their neighbours came to visit they were known as the Shidos they were good family friends with the Hyoudous and they were expecting their own child later that year

They saw Issei and congratulated the both of them on becoming parents and wished them luck, later that year on the 29th of September Mrs Shidou gave birth to a healthy child that had hair that matched their own with their father's violet eyes the child was a happy baby and when the Hyoudou saw their friends child they were happy for their friends

It was the day Issei met his first best friend, during their younger years they were always together and were always the happiest when they saw each other, from babies to 5-year-olds they were always happy playing games with each other to even buying sweets with money they saved up together even though shidou, as issei called him, would use most of the money on sweets issei didn't like but that didn't change how they saw each other one-day issei was sitting with his parents at the dinner table

Issei: Mom dad

They looked at him and smiled

Gouro: what's wrong my boy

Issei: how did you know you loved each other?

They were shocked, to say the least they didn't think he would ask such a question yet

Miki: well it's different for everyone my child I knew I loved your father when I woke up next to him and I was beyond happy and my heart was filled with joy that I had him in my life

She smiled and gouro took her hand and rubbed it with his other

Gouro: I knew I loved her when she accepted me for who I was I had my flaws and she looked past them and now look we have been together since it's not just a feeling issei it's the actions that count and they will always speak louder than words

Miki: do you understand?

Issei: yes...

Gouro: are you in love?

Issei: I don't know I see you and Mom and I wanted to know

he shrugged his shoulders and had a very curious face while looking at them they had a chuckle from his curiosity

A similar topic came up with the shidos and their reaction was different, shido had stated that they were iterated and wanted to marry when they grew up and it surprised their parents by their statement, but they wanted better for them there was nothing wrong with who they liked but they wanted best for their child
